He's camper than a row of pink tents, is quite an unpleasant person and his snoring is like a chainsaw through the skull, but the sad thing is that he had to leave Poland because of the homophobic abuse he suffered.

No one deserves having to leave their home country because of something like that.

Well, yes, sort of.

I'm glad that he (Tomasz Wania) had an alternative in coming to the UK, but don't think that any country in this day and age, especially one in the EU, should have put any of its citizens in such a dilemma.

Tomasz probably had other reasons for leaving Poland, but I don't think he feel able to be himself there.

I didn't know that Big Brother was even on TV nowadays.

No idea where in Poland Tomaz is from. To be honest I think he would have trouble fitting in anywhere.

I just googled him and yes, he does seem quite a character; Big Brother chooses people who are quite extreme. I suspect he'd be quite like that even if he was straight.

There are certainly people more extreme in appearance etc in Poland; and yes there's television work for them there too.

Nope, never seen Big Brother, but have just googled Tomasz Wania to see what the fuss is about, and he has now been evicted from the house.

You haven't been to Poland yet you're prejudiced already :-). That's how mass media works. Come and see for yourself that Poland is different than what BBC wants you to believe it is :-P
