Yes,nothing about it being the home of western democracy and habius corpus, nothing about it never having fallen to an invader in hundreds of years, nothing to do with the freedoms from petty religious oppression we all benefit from, its the cucumber sarnies......

couldnt have put it better myself

Not free though from the Royal Family

Why be free from something that does not effect my freedom? You have ridiculously wealthy heads of state with very little actual power,so do we,yours is of Kenyan heritage ours is of Germano danish heritage......What we are totally free from though is our people being under the commands of a former member of the Hitler Youth living in gilded palaces in Rome......

the Class System.

Yeah, because you are all fraternal comrades in the USA..............

What I mostly like in Britain is that it is full of Poles.

Superb! What I miss now is living in Sussex..nothing like November 5th in dear old Lewes...

Isn't that the place which had the van with the "P1 KEY" number plate, and a "traveller" guy a few years back?

ah no that was in the valley of Firle, redneck country some miles from Lewes. Its all feudal Sussex though....definitely a sinister side to all that burning.

You've obviously never been here, so cut the cr*p and get back to the kebabs.

Fewer than 1 person in 70 is likely to be Polish, including those who were born here (like me), so how on earth does that count as "full" of Poles? You would only recognise the tirówki you go with, and the idiot karki they also go with anyway, and that's a comparative minority - older immigrants and their children look nothing like that.

If you really had been here, you would know that Britain is actually "full of" Asians, Blacks and non-Slavic white people :p

I stand corrected. ;)

I'd never go to an outlying Scottish island, either - I've seen The Wicker Man :D

am damn sure you know how to make great yorkshires. my recipe normal ingredients, oven temperature taki sam napalm, and dont open oven door till they are done. latwy

Yep its the heat that is key, i put the oil in the yorkshire trays then leave that on top of the gas burner till its smoking, add mix then in a pre heated oven at about 220 till completely cooked, if you take them out too early they'll go flat.

exactly! you make them the same way i do, normally done in about 20 minutes. nothing wrong with english food as long as you know how to cook it properly, and take a bit of time and care. my all time favourite has to be stew and dumplings though. now winter is upon us i will be getting into stew cooking mode......very soon!

Absolutely you have to make the most of the seasons, stews, casseroles and soup for winter warmers. I love cooking.
