Polish in Uk are some of the hardest working and nice people

I think it would have been good natured to have replied in the spirit in which Phil wrote. We may not all be sure of the 'right' terminology these days, but for 40 years before the Berlin wall fell, we in the 'west' always referred to 'eastern Europe'. It is simply a matter of usage, not offence! In the UK, non-nationals regularly get our country terminology wrong, referring to the English when they mean Scottish, or Great Britain when they mean Northern Ireland and so on. Sometimes they even talk of England as an island!

I reiterate Phil's welcome - I teach many students from the east of Europe (is that's OK to say) and I find them a joy to teach, friendly, hard-working, interesting and grateful! So if you're not here, come over and enjoy our hospitality. Look me up on englishforliving.co.uk and say hello!

lol whatever are them None of these is Polish national dish.

I think you'd recognise them. Common across all of Eastern Europe including Poland.

Where did you learn to write such fine Polish?

Now you don't really think those are from the Polish variant of the easten European language family?

I could be easly convinced that this "sc'chi" is some chinese thing

Trust me, you know it. Eaten from Poznan to Vladovostok.

jon, you are just a typical bigot, same like you were talking your bigotry about races " there is only one race, human race" lol
now you start your bigotry about Poland, trying to explain you sometning is not more beneficial than feeding a troll, so I am not going to waste my time responding to your provocations and I advise anyone else to do the same.

Wulkan, don`t be silly, give up that pathetic exchange about Eastern Europe, leave jon alone, relax, stop being so sensitive, go out and have a drink or two, behave like a fekking man, for god`s sake!

Yes. and to bring the thread closer to topic (but still allude to the digression), if you ask a Pole in the UK whose company theyre easier in, an Austrian from Mitteleuropa or a Ukrainian from Dniepopetrovsk, I wonder what they would be more likely to say.

As a Pole in the UK I guess I qualify to answer this question :-)

And to your disappointment I have to tell you that I work for Austrian company KNAPP.

We build and maintain conveyor systems among others. There are more companies which are a competition for eachother in this business from Austria and Germany. I have never heard about any Ukrainian company in the UK in this or any other business.

That doesn't actually say much about the thread - or the digression.

I answered your question if it doesnt say much about the thread why do you ask the question in the first place.
