I don't disagree with Polish being here in the majority, but we all do know, that some Polish are exactly "does what it says on the tin". I know some Polish and they are wasters, but I also know some that are hard working, and are trying to integrate....
Let's discuss Polish and British, only constructive (though we will digress)
I'd be happy to discuss, but can't be bothered as in 3 posts mutual slagging off will develop. Some dailyfail bullshit will be copypasted; some outdated/irrelevant data will be presented; women on both sides will be called sluts; etc. So no, thanks. Starcraft is WAY better ;)
lol, couldn't agree more....about time someone actually told it how it is instead of trying to "skirt and moan about each other".
Still, we're here to help... :)
Third reply, still peacefully :D
please keep trouble makers in UK :( we dont want them in Poland as much as You :(

There is great potential for parternship, if only the arrogance and stereotypes are dropped. Breaking the linguistic barrier helps too as it allows you to tap into their way of thinking. The problem is that idiots will always ruin things and turn it into a competition but common ground is there to be found.

Wanna talk some more?
Hey what's up Seanus ma friend?
Well, many Brits are lazy and unmotivated but it's all about opportunity. The problem is that many Brits see Poles are inferior and many Poles reckon they are the best at so many things. There is naturally going to be tension. Still, some can rise above that and make things work. It just needs some ego dropping.
I also know some that are hard working, and are trying to integrate....
we all know the brits in poland teach us english mostly and some do business
poles in uk are different story, if they earn money, save and invest thats good for everybody, if they spend hard earned cash on buzz or banging hookers or expensive cars :) - thats no good
please keep trouble makers in UK :( we dont want them in Poland as much as You :(
Is that still peaceful, or edging on some debate?? :-D
That's true enough! Look, if the will and desire are there, Poles and Brits (esp Scots) get on really well. Humanity transcends nationality and striking a chord just needs the right conditions and drive.

There are many smart people and many stupid people in any country.
That is correct so why (in my experience and of Poles that I know) do we attract as the UK, the plebs amongst them? (bar the few that actually do make the effort...
They are utopian idealists, aka drifters ;)

The problem is that many Brits see Poles are inferior
In replying to a previous poster.
Which is almost beyond irony or parady considering:
The million or so Poles who have come here in the past five years definitely came to work. They are three times more likely to be law-abiding than the average British resident, and the 134 Polish Catholic churches are packed. The most dreaded words for a Polish priest are not "mortal sin", but "fire regulations".
True, many Poles now go to school here, are treated by the NHS and some receive child benefit, but only three per cent are eligible for other subsidies. There is an extra burden on local health and education authorities and police associations: many of these social costs however are covered by their £1.9 billion a year contribution to the Exchequer in income tax and national insurance, and that figure does not include their contribution to council tax.

Hopefully this will satisfy you, so in summary they are more law abiding than the natives, harder working than the natives, do not claim as much benefit as the natives and according to this more intelligent than the natives, those with the thick accents anyhow. SO ALL YOU TEACHERS OUT THERE TAKE NOTE!
and this: telegraph.co.uk/education/6062088/A-level-results-Polish-student-beats-language-barrier-to-win-uni-place-to-study-English.html
And lets not forget whose economy is on the up, and whose economy is going down the tube. I use to think that all this stuff by Gibbon about the Delcine and Fall was hard to believe, but looking at Britain, there is no better example!
Yes but that wasn't my point. My point was perception and Brits will almost always see themselves as superior.

They use to be, until they developed a fetish for a party that couldn't elevate the ordinary, so it decided to pull down the 'extraordinary'. Good old social engineering, what Stalin did not manage to do to the Poles, Labour has managed in Britain!

They must be exporting them, if you actually have seen them around.

I am sure there is plenty of room for cooperation. Here is a good example.
Cambridge appoints top doctor as new vice-chancellor
Leszek Borysiewicz, who was instrumental in developing the cervical cancer vaccine, will take over in the autumn
Leszek Borysiewicz, Cambridge university's new vice-chancellor
Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, one of the country's most respected medical researchers, was today nominated as the 345th vice-chancellor of the University of Cambridge.
He will succeed Alison Richard, the current vice-chancellor, when her seven-year term comes to an end next autumn.
Borysiewicz, a Welsh-Polish doctor by training, was instrumental in the development of the HPV vaccine, which is now offered to all girls to reduce the risk of cervical cancer. He is head of the Medical Research Council, the main funding body for medical academia in the UK.

Interesting, i think i will take a closer look.
There are many clubs that bring together people from our respective communities. It is worth remembering that ties go back a long way and have continued for good reason. Anyway, another salient point is that we both excel in science. Information sharing and working for the collective benefit of mankind is a noble pursuit when discussing this area. Let life not be a competition but a collaborative project.

Actually he only repeated what u said in the first post but changed Poles to Brits. There was nothing about whole nation being uneducated, just stating the fact that in every nation (so British too as well as Polish) there are some nice people and those as u call them "scumbags".
I know some British and they are wasters, but I also know some that are hard working, and are trying to integrate....
What about all the scumbags here then??
Well, nothing, i guess. What should be about them. Perhaps they should be deported as it is being done in Australia when someone commit a crime.
