Poles really are inferior t the british in every way arent they.

The article doesn't mention Polish drivers specifically, so your comments are more than a little inflammatory.

To me, this is like the benefit entitlement situation, in that having a driving licence issued in an EU country shouldn't entitle someone to drive in another EU country. They should be tested by the other country they want to drive in. To me that is just common sense.

It isn't just the EU either though. I know someone who took their test in Zimbabwe and now lives here and they got a UK licence just by sending off the form. I also know someone from New Zealand who has done just the same.

The DVLA needs to get its house in order to test anyone from anywhere who wants to drive on UK roads but has a licence issued elsewhere.

I agree that there are more foreign cars on the roads now (no idea if they are taxed and MOTd properly though) but standards of driving are terrible across the board.

I'm glad to get home every night in one piece and find driving much more hazardous than I used too.

I know some Poles in the US that don't follow the traffic regulations. They go at least 80 mph on the highways where you should go only 65. They get many speeding tickets but that doesn't stop them.

Such a simple little statement aimed at getting most people annoyed, that they just have to reply.........

Wow, what another great subject matter and surprise, surprise it's knocking the Polish people again. Yes, definitely some sort of 'plant' LOL........

I am disgusted with article after article of the antics of eastern europeans (predominately poles) which affect the native british population.

It seems to me that poles should not live in britain until they improve themselves to the poin that britain MAY accept some of them

Correct. If anything it specifies Latvians!

This article means nothing and is months old. Another attempt to rile people when the fact is, there are crap drivers everywhere. Drunk-drivers everywhere too.

The DVLA needs to get its house in order to test anyone from anywhere who wants to drive on UK roads but has a licence issued elsewhere.

I do agree with this though. Different driving regulations in each country should mean that anyone moving to another country longterm should sit a driving test within the first 3/6 months of arrival.

I am disgusted with article after article of the antics of eastern europeans (predominately poles) which affect the native british population.

Hardly article after article. You trawl the net looking for them. I could find article upon article about anything if I set my mind to it. You did notice that Poles weren't singled out in this article didn't you? You are a student after all...

Most likely he's just a bored, immature person who's found a way to annoy people. He reminds me of a spoiled child.

Although, he does spent so much time here posting I wonder how much his studies suffer...

You can't do that here though. If the issue is a strong one for you, lobby some MSP or something. This is a discussion forum, you won't save the world here.

The caped crusader

What? My cape is far better. I'm the real superhero round here - a donkey that can fly, cook nice food and drink vodka.

True. I thought a while back he was from England but studying in Glasgow. I may be confused... :)

i am quite frankly disgusted that this guy is allowed to post here. There must be a forum more suited to his tastes, a toilet-fetish forum, or an armchair nazi forum. This is one seriously deranged, dangerous creep...the only comfort for me, reading his posts is the fact that he has no grasp of spelling, grammar, punctuation or any other skill in respect of his supposed first language (English). This, rather undermines his air of superiority in my humble opinion.

I don't reckon he's English (in other words - I don't want him either).
If he is supposed to be studying and he's wasting his time saving Britain from the evil Johnny Foreigner, surely he is in some way, being a burden on society. The mere fact of having to pay for education doesn't take everything away from the fact there is still funding for education, tax relief for students, valuable oxygen is still being breathed.

Actually, forget that last one - some forms of pondlife are entirely anaerobic.

Some parents just don't seem to be able to control their children's temper tantrums. These tantrums will then continue later in life. Noimmigration must be at least 12 by now. I wonder if drugs might help.

To round of? I understand to round up to, but to follow that with an indetermined value (near one million) doesn't really make sense.

I don't do this to everyone - I'm happy to let grammatical errors and spelling mistakes pass most of the time, but not everyone here claims to be studying law.
