Polish city that's moved to Britain

no way would a Polish woman dress like that....just no way.

She has a polish head and face, im not talking about her clothes.

Polish people especially women also walk different.

tbh, teens were wearing such things several years ago, but it was considered chavvy.
I must admit the taste for clothes (or should I say: the choice of clothes) has improved in Poland.

As for the woman on the picture, most Poles would tell you she doesn't look Polish in the slightests, in fact she's not Polish. Do you know why you said so? People like to believe that members of their nation are rather beautiful and when someone is shabby and ugly then one must have a foreign look.

Seriously, the orange faces and high pitched screaching between every single word said to their six foot shaved headed half track suit half unknown warsaw pact cammo outfit wearing boyfriends is a bit of a give away to anyone here in the UK ,not to mention all the PL plated cars on the roads,or rather half on roads half on pavements or wherever they damn well decidfe to stop their BMW to pop into one of two dozen Skleps on that street..... :)

Ignorant people may think like that, patriotic fools maybe. I dont think she is particularly ugly either, shes smoking a cigarette whilst heavily pregnant and has a large tatoo on her belly which i find unnatractive but i dont think shes ugly as such.


No, its a Polish walk, exclusive to the Polish and maybe other slavs i suppose but I havent observed them so much.

I have. I spend a lot of time in Eastern Poland and I see women like that all the time. Often with holes in the ass of their pants and lurid make-up. Some people just like to dress like that. I saw a guy in a bar today, early/mid twenties, having a drink with a couple of crusties. He was a huge guy, wearing one of those computer printed anoraks that were all over the place here about 4 years ago. Either he had very bad taste or had just finished a long stretch.

Large companies like L'Oreal make especially garish shades of makeup for here, Eastern Europe. The further east you go, the stronger the colours have to be to suit the local market.

OMG Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II looks on this picture like my grandma in 1930s... and even 2000s! She used to stroll around the forest like that too! She even had a checked skirt like the one on the picture.

My wife is Polish and proud and i am proud of her, she is from Eastern Europe. Again whats the big deal? i dont really see your point unless you are somehow ashamed or embarrassed. You must be aware that Slavs have visible differences from Germanic Europeans, in a similar fashion that Chinese are different to Japanese.


The most visible difference is the head as i already mentioned, its the bone structure, it tends to have a Slavic shape. The walk i can best describe as a straight upper back without much hip movement.

Last year, Socgen (French bank) sued the Daily Mail for an article the paper during the summer 2011. Not only did the paper withdraw the article and had to publish an apology, they also lost in court (English court) and had to pay unspecified damages..

Unfortunately we got rid of all grandma's clothes, so don't count on me :(

Poles believe that they have high cheekbones. The woman on the pictures has no high cheekbones.... either way every single nation on the planet believes that is blessed with high cheekbones. That's why you should put among fairytales a belief about common look in some nations.

Obviously there are many Poles who look Germanic or classic central European, becuase of all the mixed borders over the years, there has been a lot of interbreeding over the years.

Btw there was a picture of PF memeber on a meet-up. Maybe one person there could be suspected of not being a Pole (and that certainly wasn't you WB), the rest of you did not look differently neither by clothes nor face features.

It's not so hard. Although there are many different looks, the language is a giveaway. They tend to be quite loud and a shopping trolley becomes becomes a tool to part the sea of people in front of them. Oops! I repeating Rozumiemnic. Sorry.

I don't think its so easy to tell the Slovakians apart. The Hungarian women I have met, resemble Bulldogs chewing wasps. Definitely not like the movies so they are easy. I guess the nice ones stayed home.

I asked my partner what her percentages were on Lidl last night. Remarkably close to mine.

55% Polish (I'd have put this at 50%)
15% Rusian (Lithuania, Estonia)
20% English

The rest are of unknown origin. Portuguese, some asian.

Perhaps a video of a shopping trip to Lidl would surprise a few Poles as to how many are actually here.
