I don't think so.

She has a polish head and face, im not talking about her clothes.

Polish people especially women also walk different.

tbh, teens were wearing such things several years ago, but it was considered chavvy.
I must admit the taste for clothes (or should I say: the choice of clothes) has improved in Poland.

She has a polish head and face

Really? What's characteristic about Polish look?

Polish people especially women also walk different.

What do you mean? Do they walk like men?

Really? What's characteristic about Polish look?

can you tell the difference between Indians and Pakistanis? Chinese and Japanese? Slavic and European?

What do you mean? Do they walk like men?

I mean they walk different, like i said.

how do they walk? do the sway, do they walk heavily or what? Please explain, there's always a way of describing things.

Slavic and European?

That's interesting... go on

I'm just curious.
Don't you think that each one walks differently and it's not a national style?
As for the woman on the picture, most Poles would tell you she doesn't look Polish in the slightests, in fact she's not Polish. Do you know why you said so? People like to believe that members of their nation are rather beautiful and when someone is shabby and ugly then one must have a foreign look.

She looks Polish though.

+1 lol....I wondered what his point was then...
Do Poles not in the Uk think its only well dressed amature Ambassadors for Polska who are here?
Seriously, the orange faces and high pitched screaching between every single word said to their six foot shaved headed half track suit half unknown warsaw pact cammo outfit wearing boyfriends is a bit of a give away to anyone here in the UK ,not to mention all the PL plated cars on the roads,or rather half on roads half on pavements or wherever they damn well decidfe to stop their BMW to pop into one of two dozen Skleps on that street..... :)

Does she? Let's assume she is, she must have simply change style to bland into environment I suppose. Clever girl.

Ignorant people may think like that, patriotic fools maybe. I dont think she is particularly ugly either, shes smoking a cigarette whilst heavily pregnant and has a large tatoo on her belly which i find unnatractive but i dont think shes ugly as such.

Don't you think that each one walks differently and it's not a national style?

No, its a Polish walk, exclusive to the Polish and maybe other slavs i suppose but I havent observed them so much.

Yes we all know about British fashion. Very stylish.

That isn't fashion dearie. It's just a chav.

I haven't seen a women wearing cotton tracksuit pans on a street since 2004

I have. I spend a lot of time in Eastern Poland and I see women like that all the time. Often with holes in the ass of their pants and lurid make-up. Some people just like to dress like that. I saw a guy in a bar today, early/mid twenties, having a drink with a couple of crusties. He was a huge guy, wearing one of those computer printed anoraks that were all over the place here about 4 years ago. Either he had very bad taste or had just finished a long stretch.

Have you seen "Big fat gypsy wedding" already? I presume the people there are not British but in fact Polish. How did it go, once again:

People like to believe that members of their nation are rather beautiful and when someone is shabby and ugly then one must have a foreign look.

No, its a Polish walk, exclusive to the Polish and maybe other slavs i suppose but I havent observed them so much.

So tell me, please, what's your theory on why they walk differently? Do Pole have specific methods of teaching their kids to walk or maybe do they have an additional vertebra?

think shes ugly as such.

I don't want to be mean but she's absolutely unattractive on this picture.

Ignorant people may think like that, patriotic fools maybe.

How does it make you look like after the comment you made? I particulary feel offended by the fact you obviously don't consider Poles to be Europeans...

You mean wearing holley pans? I don't think it's a matter of choice.
Btw, people on the countryside wear whatever for their everyday chores and farmworks. It's nothing unusual ANYWHERE.

what's your theory on why they walk differently?

Because they are of slavic stock.

Do Pole have specific methods of teaching their kids to walk or maybe do they have an additional vertebra?

The above is exactly why youre such hard work.

How does it make you look like after the comment you made?

That Poles look different, whats the big deal?

I particulary feel offended by the fact you obviously don't consider Poles as Europeans...

Youre not, youre Easter European.

Slapper-style. Big here, though usually reasonably soigné.

Large companies like L'Oreal make especially garish shades of makeup for here, Eastern Europe. The further east you go, the stronger the colours have to be to suit the local market.

Pardon me?
Tell that to your wife, she'll absolutely delighted.

That Poles look different, whats the big deal?

The big deal is that you can say what's so different about them. Is it because you're not eloquent enough or just don't know?

The above is exactly why youre such hard work.

I don't see much of strong make up here, quite the contrary.

You're obviously not up to date

Very up-to-date. I'd rather not say why, but I'm quite knowledgeable about what cosmetic products are sold in which country.

Here is a comparison:

That's not a comparison. One is a newsreel still of a demonstration, the other is a panorama of a rebuilt and ossified part of the city centre. Perhaps I should post a picture of The Grosvenor Estate in London and say its a comparison to a picture of Polish police dragging nurses into armoured vans in al. Jerozolimskie during the PiS-era strikes.

Honestly don't tell me you never seen Martin Parr photos of Brits on holiday? Didn't know chavs took those though the fashion sens is somewhat familiar, enough said.

Now those are a little different from your chav photo, aren't they? 30 year old pics of rather tweedily dressed royalty. £ódź women are less likely to go round Biedronka dressed like The Queen than in track suit bottoms with holes in.

OMG Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II looks on this picture like my grandma in 1930s... and even 2000s! She used to stroll around the forest like that too! She even had a checked skirt like the one on the picture.

No way, I thought that only "Easter European" women can wear a shawl on their heads! ;P

My wife is Polish and proud and i am proud of her, she is from Eastern Europe. Again whats the big deal? i dont really see your point unless you are somehow ashamed or embarrassed. You must be aware that Slavs have visible differences from Germanic Europeans, in a similar fashion that Chinese are different to Japanese.

The big deal is that you can say what's so different about them. Is it because you're not eloquent enough or just don't know?

The most visible difference is the head as i already mentioned, its the bone structure, it tends to have a Slavic shape. The walk i can best describe as a straight upper back without much hip movement.

doubt they'll get very far. A city trying to sue a newspaper because they disagree with an article would just be laughed out of any English court.

Last year, Socgen (French bank) sued the Daily Mail for an article the paper during the summer 2011. Not only did the paper withdraw the article and had to publish an apology, they also lost in court (English court) and had to pay unspecified damages..

Unfortunately we got rid of all grandma's clothes, so don't count on me :(

straight upper back without much hip movement.

You mean that Polish women are not overweight. Lol
I slouch a lot, maybe I'm not Polish?

its the bone structure, it tends to have a Slavic shape

Poles believe that they have high cheekbones. The woman on the pictures has no high cheekbones.... either way every single nation on the planet believes that is blessed with high cheekbones. That's why you should put among fairytales a belief about common look in some nations.

Slavs have visible differences from Germanic Europeans

Don't kid yourself. Maybe in parts of Germany which borders with the Netherlands.
No, there is no visible difference in reality.

My wife is Polish and proud and i am proud of her, she is from Eastern Europe.

Have you told her she's not European?

No i dont mean that i menat what i said, although the Polish do tend not to be over weight.

I slouch a lot, maybe I'm not Polish?

Slouching doesnt change your genetic make up.

Poles believe that they have high cheekbones. The woman on the pictures has no high cheekbones

i would agree with Poles generally having high cheek bones, although not all obviously.

either way every single nation on the planet believes that is blessed with high cheekbones.

The English dont, French dont, germans dont, Italians? thats crap. In any case were not really talking naitons its further back than that.

Don't kid yourself. Maybe in parts of Germany which borders with the Netherlands.

Obviously there are many Poles who look Germanic or classic central European, becuase of all the mixed borders over the years, there has been a lot of interbreeding over the years.

No, there is no visible difference in reality.

you are aware that Jews have a specific look dont you? and that Italians generally look different to Spaniards? you are aware that we have black people and white people and oriental people on this planet?

Btw there was a picture of PF memeber on a meet-up. Maybe one person there could be suspected of not being a Pole (and that certainly wasn't you WB), the rest of you did not look differently neither by clothes nor face features.

She looks Polish though.

She must have integrated :)

I haven't seen a women wearing cotton tracksuit pans on a street since 2004

Come to England. :)

I believe that you can recognize foreigners but narrowing it down to Poles, well?

It's not so hard. Although there are many different looks, the language is a giveaway. They tend to be quite loud and a shopping trolley becomes becomes a tool to part the sea of people in front of them. Oops! I repeating Rozumiemnic. Sorry.

I don't think its so easy to tell the Slovakians apart. The Hungarian women I have met, resemble Bulldogs chewing wasps. Definitely not like the movies so they are easy. I guess the nice ones stayed home.

I asked my partner what her percentages were on Lidl last night. Remarkably close to mine.

55% Polish (I'd have put this at 50%)
15% Rusian (Lithuania, Estonia)
20% English

The rest are of unknown origin. Portuguese, some asian.

Perhaps a video of a shopping trip to Lidl would surprise a few Poles as to how many are actually here.
