OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 2 Aug 2016 / #31He likes everything to do with England and he doesn't ever want to return to Poland so what's the issue? He pays taxes so he contributes to society
Lyzko 42 | 9526 2 Aug 2016 / #32Everything except the English language, Dreamergirl!!Frankly, the irony's too pitiful for words, though it seems to have blissfully escaped you.Fine, let what's his name keep living in his own little La-La Land. He'll wake up one of these years, only the wake up call might not come as a soft morning kiss, but rather a nasty note from the PM's office: "AHOY, MATEY!!! LEARN ENGLISH OR GO BACK HOME."
Lyzko 42 | 9526 2 Aug 2016 / #34If you can teach him English, moreover, he is WILLING to learn and swallow his pride, my blessings to you both:-)Powodzenia aka lots of luck!
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 2 Aug 2016 / #35Thank you!!!!! I will work on him, hope he will soften up when the baby comes!
Lyzko 42 | 9526 2 Aug 2016 / #36I have no doubts whatsoever. A blessed event is indeed just that and no amount of pride can squelch a new dad from providing only the very best for his child, above all, the gift of language:-) As a native English speaker yourself, I'm sure you'll be a fine teacher as well!G_d speed.
Lyzko 42 | 9526 3 Aug 2016 / #38No doubt you're right:-)Being a successful, self-employed or independent contractor clearly makes him a contributor instead of a leech. Already he's garnered my respect.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 3 Aug 2016 / #39He's just a stubborn traditional man I think who only does what he wants to do
Lyzko 42 | 9526 3 Aug 2016 / #42You write as though you're only about nineteen going on thirteen, Dreamer! Am I right?:-)
Lyzko 42 | 9526 3 Aug 2016 / #44Oho, robbing the cradle then, is he?LOLOnly kidding, Dreamer. I've simply noticed that you "write" the same way you text, that's all:-)U no eyem riteLOL
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 3 Aug 2016 / #45Ok I lied about my age said I'm 30 but I'm ten years younger than him but he says I'm very mature for my age we have google translate now
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 3 Aug 2016 / #47It's like I'm teaching him stuff even though I'm younger and having his kid lol
peterweg 37 | 2305 4 Aug 2016 / #49So there's no way he will just get awarded it for getting me pregnant ?No, your child gets citizenship. Once the UK leaves the EU they will remove abuses of system, because thats what half of the population voted for. A requirement to speak English was added quite recently- its a red line.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 4 Aug 2016 / #52But he behaves well no fighting even when he's drunk and he works hard
peterweg 37 | 2305 4 Aug 2016 / #55He has to PROVE he has lived here for 5 years, with restrictions on when he was out of the UK. a record of dates in and out is required.Has to have good character (referees required), no criminal record and paid all taxes etc.Has to pass the English test unless he is over 65 or brain damaged. Then he can get citizenship. Being the father of your child isn't relevant as you aren't even married. After Brexit, I expect we would leave/dump the EHR (European Human Rights) so any rights would entirely up to the UK government. And the one thing that will block citizenship and the right to stay is not speaking English - because it stops you taking part in and contributing to British society.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 5 Aug 2016 / #58His mum and dad got angry with him on Skype last night and told him he has to marry me now if he's having a baby to such a younger woman
peterweg 37 | 2305 6 Aug 2016 / #59Damn right he has to, he's unworthy of Poland if he gets deported and leaves his child behind.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 6 Aug 2016 / #60So excuse my ignorance but if he gets deported and we end up going to Poland what happens to me?
