Autobuser pl was a great Warsaw bus and metro iphone app but was deleted after the recent bus network changes. Any good Warsaw transport apps?

I'm in Krakow and use Scheduler PL - it works in many Polish cities including (of course) Warsaw. It's a free app, but you must pay a $2.99 yearly subscription fee to get schedule updates. Definitely worth the cost, IMHO - however, the current version of the app tends to crash often when opened.

You can try it for free without the subscription - I seem to remember getting the first schedule gratis.

Merged: Any ZTM (public transport) Warsaw app for Nokia phones?

I know you can get Warsaw transportation apps/maps on android and iOS but are there any for Nokia's various Symbian platforms? I am a die hard Nokia user and would like to find Warsaw Transport timetables/maps for my phone. Preferably something with Buses, Trams and Metro all in one.

Thanks Olaf :)

Antheads I remember seeing an official one on the ZTM site a while back but can't find it now. The few I found are below:

market.android.com/details?id=metro.warsawmetro&feature=search_result (Metro only so not so helpful)

Someone told me about a "transportoid" app thing- they have android and it gave them full coverage/knowledge (you know what I mean) of the travel times, bus lines, etc. Anyone know if I could get this for the Sląsk region or maybe Katowice even? Would be very helpful.

I never got around to looking into this in depth and realized Olaf's link was just a mobile version of a website....does anyone know if any actual APPS for Symbian s60 and Symbian Belle for Warsaw Public transport?

I have an N8 running Symbian Anna and find that a lot of organisations forget to do a Nokia version of their software. In Poland however, gadu gadu is available for Symbian!

Merged: Poland travel apps

I'm looking to visit Poland soon, however I only speak English. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on travel apps for smartphones? Or a good translation app that doesn't require a data connection. I already have a few good books, but I prefer not to take them all with me :)

This is quite good if you need maps and don't want to pay roaming data charges

Lol, that's funny pip. I have no one to call though, my grandfather was the last person in the family to speak Polish. They never passed the language down to us.

Thank you both for the info!
