Hey there

Anyone use the app Mobillet for public transport in Warsaw?
I live in Otwock and was wondering why the app isn't set up for the local railway network, yet you can still use the zone 2 ZTM tickets on there.

No real problem as can always buy the tickets, it's just the app is always handy.

Hi by the way, used to ukpolska on here but seems someone has my username, or it is still referenced on the site, my bet is the latter.

Can you use it on other parts of the SKM? And is it the SKM train or are there still others stopping there?

Hey jon, I have looked in settings and under the list of available cities Warsaw is not listed there, but it is for the busses and trams. lol

Just moved to Warsaw after living in Pulawy for 14 years so still finding my way around and thought the app would be useful.
I think I will just go and get a WKM 'Warsaw City Card' and use the app as a backup.

The cards are useful. I've seen various mobile pay schemes advertised on the tram - they seem a good idea.

I've just started using Uber - out of interest, do you know if it works as far as Otwock?

I spent the past year setting up a new company in the UK and have moved back here now and after having my ear bent by every London cabby over the last year about Uber, my affected brain cringes at the thought. :)

Plus, I am right on the edge of zone 2 so I guess the train will still be cheaper, but thanks anyway.

Can't say I have. I generally use jakdojade (or just Uber).

Those work out cheaper. Also, if you pay your taxes in Warsaw, check out the Karta Warszawiaka.

For myself, I can't abide jakdojade. Something in their algorithm makes them come up with amazingly complicated routes in Warsaw, though I do sometimes use them out of town and it works.

Just a side note if the mods allow it nowadays, Harry, do you know anywhere they will be showing the Rugby World Cup in Warsaw?

Side notes are very much forbidden these days, and going off-topic is punishable by death. But, I can very strongly recommend setting a mobile app to navigate from where-ever you are to Emilii Plater 25 or possibly to Wilcza 46. I don't know if Mobillet can get you to those places, but I'm sure that jakdojade can.
