Travelling to Lodz - input needed

I am going to Lodz for the first time in a couple of weeks. I will fly into Warsaw and plan to rent a car from there. Will be staying at the Campanile.

Would appreciate any input, recommedations, warnings, or generally useful info you have.

Hi , it may be actually easier to get to Lodz by train and then rent the car.

Anyway, avoid taking taxies from the train station, it's always better to call for one from a certificated corporation. Avoid taxies with no brand

400 400, or taxi merx are ok
if there is no logo or company name on the taxi - they will charge more
