Traveling within Poland into my destination city - Lublin (from Warsaw airport)

The good news for you is that the bus 175 no longer exists: now there is a train from Warsaw airport to the centre. The S3C train is the best one to get (as it has fewer stops and goes straight to Warszawa Centralna Station, the other two go to Warszawa Śródmieście). The trains run every 10 to 12 minutes at that time of day and take about 15 minutes to get to the centre.

Personally I'd allow more like two hours from time of landing until my train. In reality an hour would almost certainly be enough but why have the stress and worry when you can just kill an hour or so having a coffee at the station?

That's great news mate!

And yeah ill just do that. Two extra hours til train arrives should be enough. Who knows, maybe i have enough time to check the big mall next to centralna.

Merged: Have to go from Warsaw to Lublin (train, taxis)

Hello.

I have to go to Lublin.

I will be arrived at Warsaw chopin airport.

And I've found that I can get Lublin with pkp train line.

How can I go to central station ?

And the train arrives at late night. Around 10 pm.

Are taxis still available at that time?

And I don't know if I can hang around there at night because I don't have any information about safety in there.

How can I go to central station ?

Depending on how much luggage I had and what time of the day is was, I'd either take a taxi or the train from Warsaw airport to the central station, certainly not bus 175.

The best option is by train (the airport has had its own train terminal since June of this year). But you have to be vigilant of the type of train you are going to take. You may take the one which brings you directly to the Warsaw Central Station at which you will only have to change the platform (or perhaps not even that) to catch the train to Lublin. Other trains will get you to a nearby commuter trains station Warszawa Śródmieście from which you can walk underground to Warsaw Central Station. Bus 175 will also take you directly to Warsaw Central Station as well (beware of pickpockets)

Has anyone used the Polska Bus? Just interested if they do this journey. I know the company in the Uk Megabus where cheap and quite successful.

PolskiBus is great! Took the bus from Warsaw to Lublin last weekend, and was very happy with everything. It's probably not ideal for a longer trip, though, unless train tickets aren't within budget.

You can get a coach from Chopin direct to Lublin costing 45zl per person and taking around 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Departure times are 9.15/10.15/11.00/13.05/15.15. You come out of arrivals, turn right towards the airport bus station.

I think the company is Comtbus.
I've done that journey several times.
It's only a small coach and the drivers go as quick as they can. There is one stop, at the Marriott Hotel in Warsaw where they pick up enough passengers to fill the coach.

Don't forget, from mid December you'll be able to fly direct to Lublin when the new airport opens.
