Road checks of the Police within Poland on the Motorway

Is it quite common in Poland that there a road checks of the Police on the Motorway?

I've traveled around Poland a few times with the Bus and Car.
But no Police Car around the Motorway ... Or a road check.

Polish Police are not focusing on that like Germany for example?

Usually unmarked cars are used to patrol the motorway, particularly on the A4.

Good to know.
I only can speak for the Berlin Border, Poznan, Lodz and Warsaw.

They have a special beloved car brand?
I've noticed they love Opel and Kia in Poznan for the Undercover Police :)

Try Polish app: yanosik. Drivers can warn each other about road checks, unmarked cars, accidents, crashes, traffic, etc.

They do lejek funnel traps for alcohol level testing.

It's one of my favourite tactics here. It takes only a few seconds and doesn't bother me in the slightest, but watching the inevitable idiots get caught is a pleasure.

I wish they would introduce much higher fines and use the revenue to catch as many drink-drivers as possible. I wouldn't have an issue if I was stopped every day for a quick check.
