Returning to Poland after 20 years in America

Hello!

I have been living in America since I was two years old. My mother, father, sister, and I traveled here. With the current climate and some other, private matters regarding my American residency, I don't believe I can stay in the United States. Now, I'm not trying to say that Poland is my ONLY escape but it's the only one where I was BORN and have my birth certificate.

The question is, how would I go about starting to move/transfer to Poland? My Polish is shoddy but my mother is fluent and she's still alive. (She doesn't like Poland so much so it's not going to be easy to convince her but she'll go anywhere I go. No, I'm not 100% sure why she doesn't want to besides general "no work" but I struggle with that in America so...). I'm also currently legally married to a man born in the United States but that isn't going to save my residency problem. :) (And yes, he's willing to go. I've found some opportunities for some tech companies looking for Spanish speaking reps that are willing to relocate to Poland, so we are going to try some of those to land a job for him as it will be tougher to get him to come with me.

Why would you move to a different continent if you could just move to a better state within the same country?
And no, unless you have a good skills there is n on point of moving back. And if your skills would be good, you would have a decent job in the US.

You think it's bad in America?
I think you need to follow up on what those horrible sh!tgibbon PiS are doing to democract in your homeland coz if anything, Trump is following their playbook and they're more than a year ahead of him

Oh and the air pollution is giving people lung cancer on a daily basis

There's a reason so many Poles leave Poland and never return, think about it.

Acquire education, skills and experience that are saleable on the highly competitive Polish job market, and improve your proficiency of Polish to educated native-speaker level. And, of course, educate yourself about and prepare yourself for the realities of living in Poland. Flushing any silly romantic ideas you might have is an absolute must. If your motive for coming to Poland is to "escape", it won't have a pretty ending.

Ziemowit - No one has yet left Poland because of air pollution, brother.

Actually brother, YOU are incorrect. I left Poland because of the air pollution. I moved to Poland from the US for a job opportunity. However the air pollution, especially the ever present smog in the Winter and Fall months was the main reason for me escaping as soon as I could. Air pollution in Poland is one of the worst in the world and by far the worst in Europe. Ridiculing this problem does not make you seem cool but rather quite primitive and uneducated.

It's alright mach1 - Ziemowit is one of those "educated" patriots who thinks that God created Poland and everything if perfect. It is in fact high time, in 2018, that a blanket ban was put on burning coal in the home, But of course nobody cares about the health of the general population here, and syncophants like Ziemowit are simply encouraging the government to avoid their responsibilities in this regard.

I did the same after they deported me from California and out me in a prison for a mutual combat street fight I did not even start with some dirt bag named Raphael Luciano you can look up on google and youtube. Well I am here now and it is much better at least then that land that land where I was constantly harassed, discriminated against, on probations never getting off, constantly fined or had money taken away by courts or thieves, constantly alone with no money or sex, etc. etc. so it is at least better than that.

it is not hard to get a job here if you tell people youve lived in the usa and have good written and communicative English with some polish as well. they will hire you sometimes just based on the fact youre from USA. and ther eis less thievery and junkies and homeless people around although there are many in the praga district.

Great article on America:

God bless you for return. Poland is much better place then America.

My ancestors, including my grandfather also came back from US to Slavic world, in Serbia. During WWI. They almost all died tragically and my branch of clan almost extinct in first 90 years after return but now is fine.

This last Poland was created by Gavrilo despite wishes of Vatican, London, Vienna, Berlin and Paris.

gp

Monumental table dedicated to Gavrilo Princip, was removed from its place in Sarajevo when German occupation occurred in WWII and Hitler got it for his birthday. Text on table says: ``On this historical place, Slavic freedom was announced on the day dedicated to Svetovid in 1914.`` Annalists says that Hitler for many minutes puzzled looked at the table displayed in his office.

PLEASE STICK TO THE TOPIC

What?! What are you talking about? I only posted 2 messages on this forum. I am only criticizing the FACT which is air pollution in Poland. I looks like that toxic air you have been inhaling is causing you some mental issues. Guess that's better than cancer.

Anyway, what's that obsession with getting down your knees big boy? ...well, I better not ask LOL

Its true, but they will never admit any faults about Poland on here. The smog is worse than Los Angeles, if you call burning coal n trash smog, its something that was outlawed in the US back in the 70`s.

It cant be worse than China?

PLEASE STICK TO THE TOPIC

Why haven't you dished out one of them off-topic warnings like you do to everyone else, except Crow?
