Maybe try to find infos about Black Madonna of Częstochowa. The portrait is connected with intresting legend, many people go on a pilgrimage to Częstochowa to see it, many of those pilgrimage are on foot and those who participate it believe that if they manage to walk for (sometimes) hundrets of km, their wishes can come true.
