But which station?

Terespol. Now it was easy. But I still don't know why it should be closed at 10.00 a.m. Customs shift change?

But I still don't know why it should be closed at 10.00 a.m.

That's the fun part ;) The station is actually two stations. There's the domestic station which is open most of the day, and then the international station is on the other side of the tracks. What happens is that when the local-international trains arrive from Belarus (they're Belarusian trains), everyone has to pass through border control in the international station. They then check to make sure that everyone has left the train and that the international platform/tunnel to the international station is empty, then a few hours later, they reopen the station for border control for those going towards Belarus.

The train in summer leaves Brest at 07:00, arrives in Terespol at 06:21. The return train to Brest isn't until 10:26, arriving at 11:47 in Brest. It's needlessly time consuming and bureaucratic - I was at the international station in Terespol at 10am, the train left at 10:20-something, arrived in Brest at 11:40something, then it took another half hour to get through Belarusian border control. So - effectively over 2 hours to go a few kilometres by train.

fotopolska.eu/Dworzec_Miedzynarodowy_-_Kolejowe_Przejscie_Graniczne_Terespol shows it quite well. The access to the international platform is only through the international station, and the international station was marked on the sign in the first phootgraph I posted. I *think* this is the only separate international railway station in Poland, too.

Of course you can. But I already know you haven't really visited this city... :)

Yes, it seemed surprising to me that both you and Chemikiem posted pics from the same place. :) It is Toruń, a facility hosting Cinema City, hence the signs with the names of famous films.

Who is this guy on the left?

Toruń

Good job! A bonus for you - the other side of the sign and two guys looking at it and wondering where to go first.

BTW - I assure you I'm not Chemikiem :)

Now, that is funny ... Krużewniki and Pearl Harbour in the same direction!

Just look at the other set...

@pawian
Ok, half a point then. And your last riddle is too easy, the name of the guy is written right there... but I promise I won't tell anybody.

One more guy and I'm finished with kidnapping this thread.
Where can you meet him?

Well, it depends...

Again there's a clue in the photo. :)

In this way you both proved you can read Cyrillic because the surname in Latin alphabet is incomplete. :):):)

One more guy and I'm finished with kidnapping this thread.

No, I thought you are only testing waters and there will be more... This isn`t a private thread, it is everybody`s.

Where can you meet him?

I know but I won`t say.
Or only a hint: in the same place as this guy below:
There is a nice legend about them - they were twin brothers, one was ugly but rich and the other was handsome but poor. One day they met a sheperdess. However, ...... oops. tbc.

A hint - the residence of twin brothers isn`t far from Sandomierz.

The eggs blessed in the basket Easter Saturday, then the egg is cut up and shared on Sunday represents Christs resurrection

You normally do the sign of the cross before eating.

Bonus point to anyone can say what else is in the basket and what the items represent.

It's been seven hours now an no one can answer the question above just goes to show how little or how disinterested people are about Poland and it's culture , seems like folks here on PF are more interested in petty squabbles, Jews Arabs and their own little lives outside Poland, is anyone here Polish?, who knows the answer to a very simple question, what does the white cloth decoration on the Easter basket represent?

What does the salt in the basket represent?
