I came across it entirely by mistake - I was driving back from a weekend in Polanica, and we decided to explore. When I saw it, I had to look around, just because the church is so visually impressive.

I can see a bow so it is probably Diana, Roman goddess of the hunt.

Unfortunately, she isn`t Diana because she is carrying a crossbow. And there`s a horned animal`s head at her feet. What could it be?

Although I know it's not the same place, this looks very similar to The Golgotha at Licheń Stary. Is there some place similar in the south of Poland?

kult in Polish is not the same as 'cult' in modern US English (which would be 'sekta' in Polish).

the same meaning sort of exists in English (though it's mostly fallen out of usage because of the 'crazy people' meaning)
