Sorry, no, mine is not even half as tall as the one in Świnoujście. But it is unfair, I was going to show the lighthouse in Swinoujście soon, why are you so fast? :):):)
Hints: mine was also built by Germans. It isn`t a lighthouse.
Lookout tower wielka sowa ..... next please this is fun.
Yes! The observation/view tower on Great Owl peak in Owl Mountains in Lower Silesia.
Ok, as you seem a specialist on the region, let`s stay there for a while to have more fun, indeed. But to make it more difficult, a slightly limited view: what and where is this brick building on the left?
you are so nice for members as to reveal so many facts.
Nah. I spent 3 bloody summers in that awful place Pawian with my infant daughter. My message to others: Avoid!

I will dig out some photos when I have fed my guest. She is a pain in the arse, is very vocal and the black ones are the worst. I can't wait for her owner to come back and get her.

I spent there about two years from all combined summers and weekends as an infant and a young boy. That was the best time of my life and whenever I visited Rabka with my kids, I showed them places where I had fallen into the river, played cowboys and Indians with a self made bow, learnt how to climb trees, picked and devoured cherries by kilos and then thrown up etc etc.
Doug, don`t take such experiences and then wonderful memories away from your kids. :)
Yes, exactly, the Market Square there had been renovated before our arrival, looked very pretty, indeed, what I couldn`t say about the rest of the town which seemed very neglected. But I hope they have made some progress with it till today.
What and where is it? A hint - certainly not what you are thinking of - that would be too easy. :):)
IF, and I could be wrong.....it is easy Pawian. Well - if you've been there. Great restaurant too! Pieskawa Skala. (sorry, no Polish fonts..)
propaganda.
Where do you live again Ironside? How much have you contributed? Now be off with you!

(Rabka)...I spent a week or two there every summer when my daughter was in her pram until she was four - my liver is still recovering from the long evenings sat on the verandah:) I too had fun in the river after a few sherberts:)
Summers could be bloody cold there too I remember!
