Is that a church they are leaving? From the people''s posture, I'd say it must be some kind of religious service. Looks like early spring.

what is unusual in here in uście gorlickie?:

Two churches side by side in the center of the village: historical St. Paraskewa Greek-Catholic (Uniate) church from 1786 and newly built Roman-Catholic church.

The former was used as Greek-Catholic parish church by local £emkos (Rusnaks) until 1947, when most of them were forcefully re-settled and the church was taken over by Roman-Catholic administration to serve new settlers from Pogórze. After 1956 the building was used by both rites. Since 1997 the sole owner of the St. Paraskewa church is Greek-Catholic parish in UÅ›cie.

There are not many pictures of the RC church in Uście to be found on internet, since it is not as cute as the GC one. So here it is, just for comparison.

what is peculiar about this lamp post?

It used to be in Hyde Park. It stood beside the little lake where a family of swans resided until some unscrupulous Pole stole the swans, and the lamp post and returned to Wroclaw with them all. The swans haven't been seen in a few months, sadly.

Ooops, it shows Brits in a very bad light, then.

Have you got any issues with them?

Time to get back to seaside riddles.

What can you see?

A little digression from my mobile/cell phone:

My wife told me to go to the basement to look for guarantee papers of a blender which got damaged. I had to dig really hard to find the box (we usually keep old boxes). In the corner of the basement I saw some planks. I thought it would be nice to use them.

So, I did and I enlarged the summer house on my room`s balcony. Who for?
PS. The beer can is to show the size of the house.

Judging by the can of Guinness, I would say you are keeping Revoke Nice chained up on your balcony.

Oh, I see.

I bought a can one day because I was curious if it is as good as they say.

What disappointment! To be honest, Polish dark ales are much better. That Guinness tasted like carbonated water. Sorry, never again. :):):):)

Hmm.. what do you mean? :):):)

A pen (Latin penna, feather) is a device used to apply ink to a surface, usually paper, for writing or drawing. Historically, reed pens, quill pens, and dip pens were used, with a nib dipped in the ink. Ruling pens allow precise adjustment of line width, and still find a few specialized uses, but technical pens such as the Rapidograph are more commonly used. Modern types also include ballpoint, rollerball, fountain, and felt or ceramic tip pens.
