Is the Poland National Tourist Office doing a good job of promoting the country ?

I happen to think that the PNTO are doing a rather lousy job of educating people to the beauties of Poland.

Misconceptions about Poland are pretty much the same today as they were 20 years ago. There has been some progress but not much.

Agreed!!! Nobody hears much about destination travel in Poland in their home countries. Maybe the Poles do not want that many tourists to come visit. If they do, I think they might need to learn from Australia!

Sort of reminds me in an odd way of the identical discussion, oh, some twenty years back, when the same question was asked about whether the (neighboringLOL) German National Tourist Office was doing a "good" job in promoting their country.

Both countries have an almost Sysiphysian task ahead of them, but with a little pluck, imagination (not to mention hustle), I think they should be able to do it:-)

Surely, Trump's visit with President Duda plus the G-20 in Hamburg ought to bolster some effective PR for both! Let's keep our fingers crossed.
