I came to Poland last week. I exchanged my money in my homeland but now I'm in need of exchange more cash (my wallet is nearly empty). I would like to exchange money during weekend. Do you know any exchange offices opened during the weekend with good prices?

most exchange offices have very similar rates and they are good rates mostly - I don't know if they compare to the rates when you draw out your money from a bank card from an ATM (I guess so because there is often some additional fee for every instance of drawing money from ATM and that can hugely influence the actual rate when you draw out smaller amounts of cash) - as far as I know most exchange offices are open on Saturdays - you just need to find one and that's it (don't use bank branches to exchange your money - they don't have competitive rates and that on purpose (they don't want queues of people wanting to exchange money) )

Any exchange office will be ok I think. There are really small differences between them, just don't exchange money in the banks, as gumishu said ;)

Try Conti on Jana Pawla. Open 24hrs and has decent rates.

Thank's a lot for suggesting Jana Pawla Street :) I still feel confused with communication in a foreign country so your advice really helped me out! :)

Just take it out the ATM as this works out cheaper, dependent on which bank you use in your home country you will normally get a few points below the central bank exchange rate

Usually it doesn't. Though it pays to choose a good kantor.

One trap is when cash machines offer to pay out either at (your bank's) market rate or a fixed rate. Never choose the fixed rate, it is a scam.

I think that in every shopping centre there is a KANTOR. There is one for sure in the shopping centre next to Warsaw central train station

In fact there are quite big differences among KANTOR 's rates in Krakow , one must avoid the Kantors located on Glowny Rynek, Florianska and choose kantors located 5 minutes walk away from Stare Miasto.

It is easy to find a 10 to 15 % difference in their rates !
