Massive thanks to Poland for the Euro time!

I am just back from the Euro's & as an Irish supporter i cannot describe in words how welcome Poland made us feel. As a race of people I have never met a kinder, more friendly people & you deserve huge credit for the way you welcomed people into your country. I was there for 2 weeks in total & did not meet 1 single person that left a bad felling towards your nation. If i was Polish I would be proud of what you have achieved & I will be back & advise everyone I know to visit Poland.

Yeah me too, just back was in Poznan and Gdansk. The Polish are a great people, and made us feel really welcome. Take a bow Poland we all had a great time.

I will second that! I arrived in Poland two weeks ago and I love this place.

Everyone has been so friendly to me so far and they seem to like the fact there is an English man living in their town.

I am living in Otwock about 20 - 30 Minutes away from Warsaw and I think I am the only English person here!

The people are great.

I came here to meet a girl though, not for the football... :))

I had to Google the above to discover it is the Irish language of Gaelic and a form of greeting and sign off. Never heard it before today!

hahaha, yes, I met the girl in question while I was in Mallorca working. This is my first time in Poland and I am very happy to be here. I would like to think that things work out well with ja i moja kochana and maybe find work. I know it will be tough to find work but I am looking into using my English to my advantage and maybe teach in a private language school or peoples homes.

FYI i'm a regular at LOI games, infact had a season ticket for 14 years!! There is football outside of Dublin.

Are you jealous because you couldn't make it to Poland? Everybody had a great time and it was one hell of a party, maybe you can come along the next time. Just hope it's not another 10 years.
