legend 3 | 658 30 Sep 2011 / #3not sure how popular it is but Biskupin is interesting for its history.
OP somewhere 1 | 2 30 Sep 2011 / #4We are a photographer and a filmaker, and we are collecting stories to trace a visual map of post-enlargemet Europe, by filming and photographing places as they are told by people who come from those places. We are interested in places that have a personal and emotional value. "Lesser known" from an outsider point of view, i.e. a place that is not an obvious tourist or historical destination. You can find an outline of the project at somewhereproject.orgAny feedback welcome!
noreenb 7 | 548 30 Sep 2011 / #5"The Valley of Death" in Fordon, a distict of Bydgoszcz.Just a proposal of course.
OP somewhere 1 | 2 30 Sep 2011 / #6Thank you, both Bydgoszcz and Biskupin sound interesting indeed. Do you have maybe specific stories or memories to share about these places?
noreenb 7 | 548 30 Sep 2011 / #8"Dolina Śmierci" is a symbol of martyrology. Sad, abondonned and very depressing place. Some people were trying to pay tribute to victims of September 1939 who were murdered there in many ways.
