Louisp91 1 | 1 7 Jan 2017 / #1Me and my partner are travelling you Krakow next week but I'm not too sure which type of footwear I need(male). What do Polish males typically wear during this time of year? I was thinking maybe hiking boots?
DominicB - | 2706 7 Jan 2017 / #2@Louisp91Hiking boots would indeed be best. Waterproof them, because there can be lots of snow and slush.
DominicB - | 2706 7 Jan 2017 / #4Sandals and flip-flopsOnly in BiaĆystok! Lighter footwear helps when you are running away from the polar bears!
NoToForeigners 6 | 948 7 Jan 2017 / #6@Louisp91Just get the perfect ones though so people will think you are Polish. We Poles wear only one type of boots in winter so we can easily see if there's a foreigner around./sarcasm
rozumiemnic 8 | 3866 7 Jan 2017 / #7well I dont know about Krakow but I was just walking round Prague which probably has similar weather, and yes u need hiking boots with a good grip. It was minus something and very icy.
Dove_krk 1 | 3 14 Jan 2017 / #8Provide yourself with thick-soled shoes or boots, this January welcomed us with loads of snow and occassional temperature drops below -20 C.
