The lone sir David Scholey with his so-called trophy can be viewed in many, British newspapers today, sir David Scholey, has recently been on a hunting trip and this time round, he killed a fully grown lion for pleasure.I am not an animal liberationist. I do not condemn hunting for food. Homo sapiens is a hunter and meat eater and I eat meat.

I do condemn bankers with huge bonuses acquired from accounts with which they have been entrusted spending their rewards on gratuitous sadism.

Sir David Scholey; 76-year-old retired banker and governor of the BBC is such a person. Angry Animal Welfare Groups condemn Sir David's hobby as " Sadistic and Selfish." He offers his attitude by stating " All animals I hunt are wild beasts, this trophy my latest is not an endangered species. I have been going on hunting trips all over the world for years. Obviously if I felt it was wrong I would not do it."

The League Against Cruel Sports issued a statement along these lines " It is outrageously self-indulgent and outrageous to kill magnificent animals for sadistic pleasure. It beggars belief that someone with such a position in public life should think it acceptable."

I hold absolute disdain for Scholey and his likes were ever they may be in the world.

out of town (not very far) there is hunting/shooting/killing deer. we are told that some animals have to be managed and it seems sensible in the case of deer. i just don't need to see it.

it also depends what is on the shooting list.

however, i'd be happy to stalk something... but shoot it with my camera.
