Somebody asked me about the cheapest hotel in Warsaw. I'm not really up on hotels. They plan to visit soon (and I truly don't want to put them up at mine). They don't mind a fleapit, even miles from the centre. Any ideas?

I've driven past [hotel.bestharctur.pl/php/index.php] - this place a few times and often thought it must be the 'cheapest in Warsaw' , not bad location, no idea what the rooms are like though.

Otherwise one of the Kyriad/Campanille/Premier Classe Hotels at Plac Zawiszy is cheap, can't remember which one though.

The hotel boat is as cheap as it gets from what I remember. My memory was right for a change! 75zl per night for a single, 100zl per night for a twin and 130zl per night for a triple (and a central location too).

I booked a Queen bed at the Holiday Inn on Zlota for about £40 for the night, thought it was quite cheap and good location but you can probably get it cheaper. Are your friends scottish, Jonny? ;)

I never could understand this about Poland, where you have to specify and pay for the size of the room.

Single, twin, familok. lol

Everywhere else you go you pay for a room or two if needed.

Nice sopt, i like it.

Just shows how you really haven't travelled anywhere in the world. I suspect the only flight you've actually taken in your life was the one in which you left Poland on.

Normal practice in the world is to state what size of room you need - only budget hotels do it 'by room' and not 'by type'. You know, I'm looking

Then again, toilet cleaners can't exactly afford a normal hotel on their wages - I guess your decisions come down to "do I stay in a 10 bed dorm or a 16 bed dorm?".

Merged: Cheap Hotels in Warsaw (for as low as 20-30zl per day?)

Hi Friends,

One of my friends told me that there can be some very cheap but fairly decent hotels in warsaw with rents as low as 20-30zl per day. Is it true? If yes, then can you please suggest me some names?

I just been to warsaw last year. And I could get one hotel with rent 50zl a day. If you know cheaper hotels, do tell me. It would be very useful.

Thanks and Regards,
xpertize

Xpertize i thought from one of your messages posted on the forum you recently found and rented a room for 950zl per month in Warsaw ?

As for hostels for 20-30zl per night I doubt there are any. Or maybe in a dorm with several people and no security for your belongings. If you found a hotel for 50zl per night last year it is better you go back there but the price must have increased from last year.

Thanks LwowskaKrakow. I'll keep that in mind. Yeah, there were some negotiations earlier regarding the flat. But still there are three days left for me to arrive in warsaw so just checking out other possiblities. :)

May when that person said 20zl a day, he meant after sharing the hotel room or something like that. 20zl a day really sounds hard to believe. Thanks and regards.

Every time I look for a nice affordable hotel for my family and I to stay at. I usually check all of the competitive search engines that try to give the best rates. Fortunately, I found this site thehotelcompare.com and got the best deal, much better than other sites I used before. They have great deals on hotels. I have booked 4 different hotels with them and so far it's the best deals I can find with nice hotels.
