Are the ATMs at banks inside this airport safe to use? Can anyone recommend a specific one? Thanks.

Yes, all of them.

Can anyone recommend a specific one?

No, they're all OK - you'll find a couple together in the right hand part of the arrivals bit. PHO and (I think) WBK. Both fine to use, however I use PKO since if you put an odd number in (say, 490 instead of 500) you'll get smaller denomination notes, useful for change.

Thanks. I've heard stories of Germans trying to withdraw money outside the eurozone and the ATMs asking for a 6-number PIN. Does this ever happen in Poland?

It's typically a 4-number PIN for the ATMs in Poland.

No, you just input your normal PIN and press 'enter'. The machines are the same as you are used to, most if not all have a German language option.

In Warsaw? Where I am they have German and English as options. I've never heard of any kind of 6 number machine (and suspect this is an urban legend).

My favorite money machines were in Turkey where some could dispense multiple currencies (turkish lira, Euros, dollars and pounds)

I think it's Polish, English or German all over Poland.

More or less. Some have French too.

There are some in Warsaw that also give Euros, however the rate is rarely good.
