I can recommend this - retrohostel.pl. It's in almost the perfect location, and they have decent standards.

And - well, I can recommend many pubs :P

No, seriously - give me a shout nearer the time and I'll show you round if you want :)

Merged: Any dorms close to campus Morasko in Poznan?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a close dormitory to Morasko campus in Poznan, Preferably has single rooms available? Or one that has easy transportation to it?
I'm staying in a very bad shared room, bad services dorm, with one bathroom for two rooms , and it's also far away from Morasko.!! :((

Thanks.

I suggest talking to the international office at the university.

However, it's highly unlikely that any single rooms are unallocated now.

I did. you're right it's not unlikely , it seems impossible, but isn't weird? I mean it's summer holiday and dorms should be almost empty, does students book rooms from now for the fall semester?

In Poland they'd reserve a seat on the tram if they could. People book tables in pubs and even reserve graves!

Dorms are often unstaffed at this time of year, or rented en masse to organisations such as the Malta Festival.

Wow!

That's what I thought. I've checked Jagienka, Jowita, and Zbyszko so far , and they all told me they don't have now and to check again in September or October as some rooms will be available, But that's is just illogical, if they don't have now (summer break) how they're gonna have in Sep, or Oct (fall semester) ??!?!?
