I'm a Turkish-Muslim girl who'll go for study at Poland next year, and I'm scared of racism news at Poland.

Ofcourse I'm not saying Polish people are racists and I can understand why some groups are hating Islam/Muslim people at there. Muslim people have a bad reputation in Europe and so much people affected because of our countries's political movements. I'm sorry with all of my heart about this.

as I said, I'll be at Poland for education next year. I'm not wearing an hijab or anything religious even though my physical looking is so different from a typical Muslim looking. I have a pale skin, and redhead-not neutral it's my hairdye- and I got few tattoos. I just want to live in peace with people at there when I go there.

Question is, when people learn that I'm Muslim, will Poland be safe for me?

Generally, yes, as long as you avoid drunk people like the plague. Most overt violence and anti-social behavior in Poland is associated with alcohol use.

The form of discrimination that you are most likely to meet in Poland is "benign neglect". You won't be actively excluded, but you won't be actively included, either. If you're assertive and willing to make the first move and are not discouraged by frequent rejection, you may win a few friends and carve out a place for yourself. If you're shy, you might as well be invisible.

Based on your rather telling user name, however, I do not think that Poland would be a wise choice for you. Or anywhere else outside of your home town. You're going to fail miserably with an attitude like that, and other people will be more than willing to help you fail.

That wasn't an insult. That was serious advice. Which, I assumed, was what you came here for. Your attempt at humor was not at all obvious. And even when you have pointed it out, it still seems more disturbing than amusing. You should be more circumspect with your use of humor in the future.

What I did to you for deserving this attitude? I really don't understand. Why are you rude with me for no reason? I just asked a question, and I believe that you answered it with full honesty. Thanks for that. But, being this rude is really unfair.

I'm not trolling anyone here. Sorry if I made anyone think that. I just asked a question and somewhat conversation came onto my username and for my opinion it was unnecessary to complain.

Bottom line: In the future, when communicating with people you don't know, stick to the business at hand and save the hahas, lols and cute usernames for people you know very well, and who know you very well. Not everybody appreciates it. Most don't.

Just follow a general precaution as dictated by a common-sense and you'll be fine. None is hunting Muslims on the streets in Poland.

Plenty here in Poland so you won't be alone. I don't forsee any big problems - as anywhere else, spend time with nice people, avoid jerks.
