Studying for free in Poland with C1

I heard that if foreigners pass C1 language exam they can study for free in Poland. Does that apply to all universities? What about Master's programs?

I simply cannot believe this to be true. Where did you hear this? We all want to study for free in Poland.

In a state university it is one of the conditions. I googled it and found some info (not sure if I can share links here). You need to have a certificate from Państwowa Komisja do spraw Poświadczania Znajomości Języka Polskiego jako Obcego.
