I would like to know something more too. I am planning too to study aerospace engineering at WP. Do anyone know how is the salary related to this job in Poland? Just to compare to other countries? Thnks
if you want to do it, do it at the Uni of Tech in Warsaw. The dept you want to check out is called, by its Polish acronyms, MEL (aerospace n somthing else). There is a lot of Polish scientists in Cali and on the east coast working at top unis. They all came to the US in the 70s & 80s. (And my uncle was one of them.) They have specialized in a theoretical aspect of aerospace. On top of that, some are brilliant computer scientists n employed by gov't agencies, say, NASA. They all sound like Edward Teller, having a very thick accent. But, hey, that's the way to go bro! Btw, it's also easy to get a scholarship to top grad schools here as a MEL grad. Good luck!
lad don't think about salary in aerospace cuz once u r a aerospace engineer its a reputed name in engineering it self. contact me i wanna talk yo from where you are and what u have been studying in past...and wat else u knw abt warsaw
Hi. Im 22 years old and Im considering to apply for bachelor in aerospace engineering at WTU. In england it is too expensive, that's why Im seriusly considering to move for this 3-4 years in Poland.
I went to scientifical high school in italy and I have the maximum (100%) at matura exam in: biology, physics and astronomy. In math I had 75%.
After high school I studed for two years in a college different subject. I wanted to take some time to understand what I wanted to do in my life and I decided for aero eng...
Yes wtf. Thats what I think when I read your post. I read one of the german forums the other day with a bunch of mates now there is 6 ppl asking wtf? You can't possibly live next door and know nothing? Get on a train and go visit you neighbours for a weekend, you will be much better off. They wont bite.
Yes australia. Very difficult to visit neighbours by train here. I answered this topic because I just finished 3 months doing work for a company who supplies engineering for aerospace and the chief engineer is german and he says the opposite.
I would like to start with a bachelor in poland just because is very cheap compare to other EU Countries especially Germany, Italy and UK. After the bachelor I will apply for a master degree in another Country. Is not my intention to live in poland. Anyway I've heard of many polish engineer graduated at the WUT and working in good companies as Thales, or even Airbus.
I think that WUT is a very good universities even better than some in germany (as german people said)
You know that you dont have to pay any Euro when you want to study in Nordrhein-Westfalen? You even get BaföG, what means, every student gets +/- 400 Euros .. after your graduation you have 10 years time to pay 50% back .. so safe 200 to pay it immediately and 200 Euros are a gift from the government .. flats, sharing-flats etc. are very cheap down here .. and you can work part time, where you dont have to pay taxes .. the highest salary where you dont have to pay is 450 Euro .. thats part time down here ..
You read a lot of crap here on this forum by forum clowns and simple trolls . Why won`t you just check for yourself . There is a lot of hard studying involved with this faculty , but for foreigners the level is dropped because they pay for the education . So you will not have to study as hard as the Poles , but it is worth .
monia look, i've been there a couple of day ago and I was shoked when they told me that foreigners are always accepted even if they grade at the maturity exam in math and phisics is very low.
I have a grade of 90% in physics and just 75% in math. I m scared that the exams of calculus of the first year will stop me. I truly would love to join WUT because the only other alternative that I have is Romania and I would definitly prefer warsaw
My advice is that you should consider study at WUT. I'm only worried about your score in mathematics. WUT math is very difficult, but you can take in some tutoring assistance from a WUT assistant . If you are good in physics you can learn mathematics on the required level , you just need someone to help you to catch up. The question is only this: what is the level of these exams you`ve taken , in Poland there are two levels: basic and extended. If your exams are related to the degree of extended, it is fine and you just need to take a math tutor, but do it in Poland before starting studies and during the studies . Polish assistant will teach you cheaper and better. Poland is famous for good mathematicians.
The requirements for students at the English division are much reduced, approx. by 75% of what is required from Polish students but don`t worry the subjects are the same, but the criteria understated a little .Good luck .
