Hi,
I've been accepted to two Polish universities:
- one has sent me my letter of admission and will accept my credentials with apostille upon arrival in Poland
- the other wants my credentials with apostille prior to providing me with a letter. (there's a delay with the processing office until late August so the university offered me an extension.)
I think applying for a student visa in late-August/early-September would be REALLY pushing it in terms of timeline though.
So my question is: do you think it'd be possible for me to use the letter of admission from the first school to obtain a student visa and then use it to attend the other school?
First off, heartiest congrats, Yuna!
Second of all, I'd contact the second school to which you've been accepted and inquire ASAP as to their procedures in this matter:-)
Which country are you from? If you don't know much Polish, you might want to think about taking some kind of crash course before getting more deeply into the language:-) Many universities throughout Europe naturally offer bilingual programs as well as courses taught in English by native English-speaking faculty for international students pursuing careers in international law, management, IT etc.
Powodzenia,
Me too. If the country is Turkey and the university is a particular one which takes plenty of Turkish and other overseas students there's someone I can ask about the delay. Except he's on holiday for 3 weeks which could be part of the reason for the delay.
Sometimes this happens, and is sorted out just in time.
