Merged: Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University MBA program Nowy Sacz
Hey guys I am a student Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu - National-Louis University in Nowy Sacz Poland. I am planning on starting the MBA program here through National Louis University in Chicago and my school here (WSB) asked me to get the word out in case anyone would be interested. Just some quick info on the program: It is going to be a one year 4 quarter system program which starts in April but you may also start it in the fall. The program here costs $9500 (30,000 pln), making it one of the cheapest American MBA programs in the world, which is a huge discount from the $24000 you would have to pay if you studied in Chicago at NLU. The programs also coincide with NLU's so everything is the same and starts at the same time as in Chicago. In addition to that last statement, you will be a full NLU student with a NLU student id card and everything. A few of the classes you will take here are online, and directly taught by NLU professors in Chicago. The quarters I believe proceed as follows; Fall is Mid September - End of November, Winter quarter is from Mid January - Mid March, and Spring is April 1st - beginning of June (no summer quarter).
Nowy Sacz, for those of you who haven't heard of it, is a town just over an hour south of Krakow in the mountains close to alot of ski resorts. There are dorms here in a few different locations. The school is comprised of 3 major buildings (A,B, and C) along with a building with a gym, outdoor basketball courts, indoor tennis courts (separate building), and indoor basketball courts (3 courts) which double as volleyball, badminton, and indoor soccer courts. And there is a big restaurant on campus that's in a separate building. Inside the building of the school you will find two different snack bars. There is, of course, a library and multiple computer labs and media centers.
The basic requirements for admittance is a bachelors from a U.S. college or university or equivalent. If guys are also interested in a scholarship I could also help direct you guys in the right direction for that.
Thanks for reading, if you guys are interested, know anyone who might be interested, or have any questions just post below or message me. I'll post the link to the site below:

"National Louis University is a private non-profit American university. NLU has campuses in and near Chicago, Illinois, as well as in Wisconsin, Florida and Nowy Sącz, Poland. Many NLU courses and programs are also offered at-a-distance" - probably that uni was a joke. they offer program in english, but secretary speaks no english :D
probably that uni was a joke
They have +20 years of history and quite good reputation in Poland.

I don't know about you guys, but a friend of mine who is currently studying there says that WSB-NLU is going through some economical issues, they've had problems with paying the scholarship ( she didn't get it since November) and during winter during some late lessons ( around 17-18:00 ) the central heating wasn't working so guess how does that feel during January in Poland :D :D. Except for that I can't think but of positive things ;)
I had there my very first polish language course and the teacher was just brilliant.

I'm not familiar with the current situation there, but I know that 10-15 years ago this school was regarded as the best economic non-public school in Poland and once I met a guy, who said he got several very good job offers soon after he graduated from there, so just wanted to point out that this is not some clown school as another poster suggested.
