100% LTV mortgage possible for foreigner in Poland?

Hi,

I am interested in buying an apartment in Krakow and take a mortgage loan for it.
Does anybody know of a bank which would give 100% LTV mortgage (to a foreigner)?
So far i checked on the internet and most of the banks give 60-80%

I have a contract for unlimited time (Umowa o pracę na czas nieokreślony) with a Polish company and a decent salary.

Try Oppenheimer Kredyt. They're quite good for non-standard mortgage applicants.

I would be very surprised if they would grant you such a mortgage. After all this is what caused the current banking crisis. People borrowing up to their mouths.

That's my feeling too. Millennium Bank were one of the worst for that. They gave an acquaintance of mine, who works as a hat check boy in a nightclub, a 100% mortgage on. A posh buy to let flat. You can imagine how it all turned out.

The worst thing was Poles getting mortgages in Swiss Francs, even though they were earning in Zlotych. The Financial Times called it an act of collective national stupidity.

An update: I checked again with millennium bank and they said they would give me the 100%. So there is still hope :)

Very. What sort of cretin would make a committment to pay large regular amounts in a currency they don't have? Your currency falls, the other currency rises and your bill is doubled.
