Hi, I have a problem I am hoping someone could help. I paid one-month rent+deposit for a room. But after staying for less than a week, I find that the place is not suitable for me. How can I get my money back if the owner does not want to give money back to me? Is there an office in Warsaw I can complain to and get my money back?
How to get back money? I paid one-month rent + deposit for a room in Poland which I don't like.
What does the contract with the flat owner state?
I have to inform two weeks in advance if I want to go.However, I did not get the full deal because I end up sleeping on the couch instead of the bed
What's the office to complain to?
Address would be nice.

Forget it - contract is against you and i can think of any country where your complaint would be upheld, except maybe France

Merged: Vacating a flat in Poland - what is the probability of getting back the deposit?
Hi,
Me and my friends are just vacating a flat in a few days. We wanted to understand what are the probability of getting back the deposits? We haven't paid any bills except for water and internet in the year. So ideally after deducting the electricity bill for the year we should get back the rest. But do polish owner deduct money for normal wear and tear? Can they claim some additional money from us for any damage over the m9ney left after paying our electricity bills?
Thanks!
