Just as a rough guide, how much would it cost to rent a 100m2 apartment near the river with a view of either (or both) the Wisla and Wavel?

Also, again very roughly speaking, how much would a similar apartment cost to buy?

I've seen plenty of flats that size available in Krakow, but struggling to find any with river/castle views, I appreciate they are rare, but are they impossible to find, or do you just need to be quick when one becomes available?

Nothing is impossible to find - go to them and make an offer.

But I suspect in this case, first chance is always given to friends and family first.

I'm sort of a bit mistrusting of Gumtree, admittedly I've never really looked for property there, but virtually everything else just seems to be fake/scams, so I tend to stick to property websites!

I've found a few websites, there is plenty to rent in Krakow, which is good, may not be able to get the river view, but should still be able to get a good location, fairly central (hopefully). Also, not in a massive rush, just looking for now, probably won't need to actually start viewing for 6 months or so, so I just wanted to get a rough idea!

vjmehra, don't bother wasting your time searching the websites if you don't understand Polish. I will save you the trouble rent an apartment in - Angel Plaza ul. Zwierzyniecka. Its close to the Wawel and river has a gym and underground parking.

Obviously your fiancée doesn't know Krakow real estate market...

Contact Alex at this company .property-krakow. he knows the market well and he speaks perfect English so he may be your man. Just be honest with him from the get-go, he's a good lad.

Most companies in Poland are only charging sellers commission, so be aware
