the question is whether delphi or you consider it reliable though
Half-Polish Terrorist attack on the Champs-Elysses
I wonder why you think that. The only question is whether the report by Polish State Radio is accurate or not.
Anyway, all the biographical details of the terrorist will doubtless come out during the public inquiry in France.

whether the report by Polish State Radio is accurate or not.
Polish State Radio report was probably copied from ANSA (the italian press agency) without trying to verify - the article from the polsatnews.pl website explains that ANSA's report was simply false when it stated that the terrorist mother was Polish
probably
Actually it wasn't.
if you choose to believe it wasn't then you are left wondering if ABW lies which I personally don't believe - but you choose to believe what you choose to believe
ABW
Worth being very sceptical about that. A very politicised organisation.
I'd rather wait until France do their inquiry into the terrorist attack before believing any denial from ABW.

it's your choice who or what you trust - but it can have implications you know - like if you qualify for eternal life or not

No, no implications at all.
you qualify for eternal lif
I doubt such matters are impacted by the relative reliability of news sources or the national origins of the parents of a terrorist in France.

it was a very general remark jon
I figured that and get what you mean.
It will doubtless all come out in the inquiry, however as always there will be those who try to challenge any facts they dislike.

Aren't they run by a self-confessed convicted criminal?
yeah, Harry - and all they do is lie - even when it's completely unnecessary - stir more you will stir yourself a whirlwind
Aren't they run by a self-confessed convicted criminal?
Sadly yes - quite a hot topic. There's other criticism too.
Interesting how quick they were to respond about personal details of the terrorist - either they're taking advantage of confidential information shared with them or they're simply guessing/hoping/lying.
Meanwhile, one of the media outlets controlled by the Polish government confirmed that he was born to a Polish mother.
Is all the same to me. I have only protested against 'Polish roots' as he never been in Poland and Islam has nothing to do with Polish culture.
The French governmentA. is Centrist, and
They're lefties even they right is left. Jacobins yuck!
OK it was an Italian press agency lying - even better one should never trust those noodle gobblers. After all they came up with pizza, calories in this abomination could kill a whole bunch of people.

I mean, you're welcome to disown him as Polish. I would as well in your position.

It's clear that the hostile attitude towards the West in Poland has resulted in this attack.
This sentence doesn't make sense.
Of course it doesn't, this thread was started solely to get a rise out of the Polish members here.
have held a long established position amongst themselves that anyone born and/or living outside of Poland cannot claim to be Polish.
Typical jealous British ex-pats that want all the glory and prestige of living in Poland and pretending to be Polish themselves.
"Edfij Paflantic". So Polish isn't it?
No that is not Polish first name, that is not Polish last name. It wasn't clear enough. We established that Italian Press Agency ANSA spreads fake news.
Born in France to a Polish mother. Therefore, half-Polish and a terrorist.
Del do you want to say something about statement above? Are you waiting for someone to call you lier?
No that is not Polish first name, that is not Polish last name.
I used to work with a lady called something like Jane Smith. All four of her grandparents were Polish.
back on topic everyone, please

Merged:
Frightening story here.
uk.blastingnews.com/opinion/2017/07/arsenal-of-79-lethal-hand-guns-seized-by-scotland-yard-and-the-nca-001821983.html
A Polish man in his 50's was caught attempting to take 79 guns into the UK. One can only speculate what he intended to do with those guns, but it's safe to say that these guns could easily have been used to spread terror and fear into the hearts of innocent British civilians.
As much as I support Schengen, perhaps it's for the best that the UK has border controls in place to prevent such terrorists from reaching British soil.

Interesting description Delph-did you just like using the word "terrorist" because it makes your post look more dramat"ic ?
"Gun smuggler" sounds a little boring I guess ?

The minimum sentence for that is quite stiff - I wonder how he thought he could get away with it.
Don't most criminals think they can get away with it ?

Yes, trying to smuggle something in through Calais isn't exactly the smartest move.
It's probably easier and more lucrative to smuggle migrants through Calais
