Get a gander of [twitter.com/JIGGLEIN/status/617429784415576064] this son of a gun pulling another Anglocentric-Polonophobic antic.

PS - PF twitter is here: twitter.com/PolishForums

Nicki, I looked at that Twitter page and think you've got the wrong end of the stick. What you have to remember is that Polish Nazis (specifically neo-Nazis) do exist, they have the flags, the costumes, the anti-semitic slogans - very much like your white supremacists over there. And unfortunately they turn up to these demonstrations in London. Recently they attacked people ion a park and are also threatening to parade through Stamford Hill, the Haredi neighbourhood...

How did you come across the page.

One of the British newspapers on Twitter reported it. My point was that the Polonophobe just had to get his jab in. Never mind that many Jews in Poland died in the Holocaust, or that many Poles were Righteous Gentiles, or that even some Litvaks in Poland chose to sympathize with the Poles

(a few even died with Polish Resistance fighters whom were fighting the Nazis

See below for two examples of such.).

I don't think he's a Polonophobe really - just pointing out that next to our home-grown ones, the largest noticeable contingent at the demonstration were bonehead soccer hooligans recently arrived from Poland, waving those tasteless flags - but good that you pointed it out. If we sit back and do nothing about racism they just get worse.

Nice pictures!

Fair enough. :-)

Nice pictures!

They're not mine. They are from the various commemorators of the kedoshim (martyrs), though those are indeed good pictures of said kedoshim.

Yes - there are some amazing stories of bravery. Pre-war Poland was a huge melting pot of humanity. We should record as many of their stories while we still can.

Have a look at these sad pictures from another thread - they're from the thing in London the other day which that guy on Twitter mentioned:

Those pictures make me incredibly sad and yet incredibly relieved.

Sad because I thought the UK was beyond this kind of knuckle dragging nonsense, but relieved because they're not in Poland.

What they are doing in London? Invitation from edl or bnp?
Fools, but their numbers are few. Now English loosers like teasomthing will have field day adding another labbel to their growing list of antipolish crap they consume daily.

Must be because they have square shaped heads as Jon's theory revealed. Lol!

They live there.

Fools, but their numbers are few.

Very true about all racists, xenophobes, general haters, flag wavers and extreme conservatives.

I like your writing style - almost identical to a guy that used to post here called Ironside.

You're welcome. I just hope that people realize that, despite Poland's imperfect history and (so to speak) sore thumbs, there were (as I and Jon noted) many brave Poles and Non Poles in Poland whose stories are worth recounting. PS Those two pictures are of my distant cousins Paweł Margiewicz and Franciszek Andrulewicz
