Polish head of state plane crashed in middle of nowhere?

Scotland is far more modern than Poland in so many ways, TIT, so stop the flaming.

Well, the middle of nowhere was the target destination, funnily enough. That's the tragic irony of the situation. It is very near KatyƄ.

Is that for me or for RevokeNice?

Mr. revokeNice. I like your comments :)

Well, I am a Scot so maybe I am 'jocking'. I'm sure as hell not joking. We are lightyears ahead in modernity terms.

Anyway, stop sidetracking the thread, you twit. Contribute or get out!

you're arabs of the north just like Norway, bunch of sheep breeders in remote part of Britain, no own goverment ( or wait they try to be ). You have only nice past and thats it.

Well, I'm sure there're alternatives other than crash landing in the woods. Have they not heard of a helicopter, car or a train?

TIT, you know nothing so I suggest you stop before you make an even bigger buffoon out of yourself. Comparing Scotland to Norway? I'll accept the compliment.

Exactly, Havok, exactly. However, word has it that they should have informed the plane long before and they conveniently didn't. Quite slack some would say.

They were told about the weather first by Belorussian ATC (when the IL-76 diverted).

there's more than meets the eye in small, remote areas. Poland gets a lot of attention here.

As I've said before, convex. I believe the Russians will have done their job admirably.

Yeah, as soon as the Poles came to the US, the US became multicultural.
:)

I wish. I can't find Polish food to save my life! And no more Polish Community Center to get my Polka on! ;)

The US isnt multicultural, its multiracial.

You make a valid point, here. The cultures, like the races, are melding.

...who is being ridiculed by a guy who names himself tit.

too funny, that. heck, it's all good :)

I'm truly sorry for what happened but I whish people would wake up back there and realize that bunch of morons is/was running their country. I can't help but notice that this misfortune was truly self-inflicted. No conspiracy theory is going to cover it up.

Well, well, well ... what a succinct political (and moral) analysis of this horrible tragedy. A nation looses its President, its First Lady, its political and military elite, and our resident genius here sums it up as follow:

"bunch of morons is (well it should actually be "are" <---) running their country", and thus it is exactly the "morons" who also died. Dude, you are amazing! Did you come up with this on your own? Whawwww! What planet do you live on? It surely isn't the same on which most of the civilized human beings live. I sure as hell don't live on the same planet you do.

Now, let us revisit this not-so-distant history of the nation (colorfully described by you as one lead by the "morons") and few very rudimentary reasons why these "morons" would be a bit suspicious of what had transpired. So, for better or worse, let us do a little proverbial Tarantino here:

1) Katyn - a place where nearly 25,000 defenseless prisoners of war were shot execution style with a shot to the back of the head.
2) The Russian government denied its involvement in this genocide (look this word up our resident genius) for decades.
3) Nearly 3 million (yes, THREE MILLION POLISH CITIZENS) perished in the "Inhuman Land" (the term "Inhuman Land" was coined by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn - Look it up) They remain unaccounted for to this day? How could this happen you ask? Well, I don't know. You tell us. You are the genius here ...

4) Soviet NKVD and SMERSH units pillaged, murdered, and raped Poland for decades. I will provide you with specific examples if you so wish.

Should I go on?

Now, the question remains: Should Poland, the nation lead by "morons" have few reservations and / or questions regarding this very specific incident?

In my humble opinion, and please forgive me, I am neither Polish, nor am I a genius like you, I would say, yes. They probably have a reason or two (or several millions) to look suspiciously on what had transpired. Am I subscribing to any conspiracy theories myself? No. But, I would like to see no stone unturned to find out what happened. And, all that this mourning and pain-stricken nation asks for is the truth. They sure as hell have earned it!

Robert

By the way you speak you could actually be a goat sh*ggin arab...

As for the Scots, do you want me to list their inventions and achievements? Im English by the way and we dont consider Scotland to be a remote part of Britain, its "Scotland"....As for their government, they have their own parliment and they have their own laws. You really are a tit arent you?

Im sure there will be a thorough investigation as always when there have been plane crashes...Maybe an independent source will carry it out.

It was dense fog - bad visibility.
Airport had no instrument landing systems capability (ILS), necessary to land with very poor visibility.
Pilot circled around few times, probably getting a good feel of the marker beacon signals, which give an indication where the runway is.
Pilot thought that had good altimeter settings - maybe he did, maybe he didn't. That one I would like to know.
Pilot probably planned to come in little low, so he can spot the runway sooner.
And most importantly, Pilot thought he could land the plane.
Every pilot knows that final decision is his, and his alone.

Not my quote. Mine was better

And most importantly, Pilot thought he could land the plane.

Pilot came down to try an (NDB) approach, why he descended past DH is a good question though...

First of all, you're overdramatizing.

To be honest most of the people here in the US haven't noticed a thing. Nada, no one cares. That tells me that you must be Polish somehow. You're Polish or you hang around with bunch of Polish people on daily basis. Possibly a native speaker.

You're also very rude so kudos for acting like a true Polak! :)

Second, you're just angrily rambling about the genocide of Katyn. I get it but this is not the reason why your president recently died a tragic death. Do not blame Russians for stupidity of your own government.

Polish leaders killed themselves in very silly accident and all in one day.

No one in the whole wide world loads up a plane full of high ranking officials and then tries to land it at the airport that is clearly not suited for that purpose.

Dear Mr. Humble, give me one example of another civilized country that would do that,,, and I'll gladly apologize to you...

I am not going to edify your venomous comments. They speak for themselves, and there are enough intelligent people on this board (excluding yourself, of course) who can clearly see through your "inspired" posts.

I'll leave you with a very simple thought. A brother lost his brother, a daughter lost her father, there were moms, fathers, daughters, and friends of many people on that plane. This is also a personal tragedy for many, many people.

As to my linguistic abilities ... damn, you are right, I do speak fluent Russian, probably pretty close to fluent Polish, English (darn, I use it every day), and couple of other "exotic" languages ... which makes me think ... damn ... I am probably ... O what the heck, you are so bright ... so finish this last sentence for yourself ... I don't think I have to comment on what kind of person you are, because you said it so eloquently about yourself in this post. I wish you the best. The world mourns the victims, past and present, take a note of that. And you?

BTW.

Whawwww!

it's wow...

A nation looses its P

* Loose - Baggy, slack, unrestricted, flowing, roomy, voluminous, ample
* Lose - misplace, be unable to find, mislay, drop, fail, suffer defeat, shake off, evade, free yourself, be bereaved.

I'll take my native speaker comment back. Yup, You're a Polak Mr. Robert. It's a shame you see it necessary to pretend that you're not.

Speaking about morals... I'm not sure what's worse, you pretending not to be Polish or me calling the Polish government bunch of morons. lol

I don't have to pretend. I signed my posts with my name. You still remain a "Havok" But, I am quiet certain you are not Russian, because no Russian would ever, under any circumstances spew the venom like you, under the present circumstances. That I am certain of.

Again, I wish you the best in your quest to ... Sadly, I think you are are the only one who knows what this quest is ...

Best Wishes,

Robert

Yep, like i said before I'm Polish, I "speak" Russian as well. I understand Slovakian, I speak broken Spanish, and German. Whatever dude.

I've finished high school and college here in the US, fought in Persian Gulf for several years. That's my story.

I do laugh at silly gooses like you, "the keyboard warriors" as i call them....

But what do i know...I'm just a dirty uneducated Polish redneck,,, as someone called me here.

...

As to my linguistic abilities ... damn, you are right,

You're not so bright, you're just cocky. There is a difference. Everyone makes typos and grammatical errors.
Stop using MS Word and type something in real time. Let it flow brother. That's what the forums are for. Let it all out.

Mr. Robert, you are a faker.

gotta piss, brb

Sadly, I think you are are the only one who knows what this quest is ...

The quest of common sense. People fail to see the obvious,,, quest.

I don't have to pretend. I signed my posts with my name.

yup, like I'm gonna believe you just because you said so. My name is James,,,, James Bond, Call me.

Where do you live, why do you post here? What's your story anyway since supposedly you're not Polish. lol

circumstances spew the venom like you, under the present circumstances

I'll let you in on a secret. I'm with CIA. They plotted the whole thing, them and aliens. I came to Polish forums to spew venomous anti-polish government propaganda LMAO...

Is there more people like you out there? This is hilarious.

I am quiet certain

blah, Mr. Robert.
