Merged: The WB/Yosemite body building, keep fit thread

Couple of recent images of me, myself and I. On the Polish related front i have noticed loads more Poles in the gym lately, even the ladies are starting to frequent the local gyms now.

I sense a little weak leg muscles ;). What's your daily typical diet, must be (too much) proteins.

My legs aren't my strongest body part but i do train them heavy at least once a week. I have a varied diet, high protein for sure, i eat sensibly.

Better than expected. Still, my 'problem' with bodybuilding is that you must be 100% devoted to it; when you take a longer break you end up where you were a year ago. That includes diet (when you stop working out you gain weight faster than you'd normally would).

Its not something i will be doing in 5 years time...i don't think anyway. Its a bucket list thing, an achievement I've wanted my entire life. Once I'm done with building i'll go with something more sensible for my age, more cardio, the thinner leaner, athletic look and feel. I'm feeling the toll on my joints already. I certainly don't enjoy squatting over 120kg or benching 130 kg that much anymore, i generally lift lighter than my max lifts. Hey as long as i enjoy it i'll keep going. There is something very satisfying about walking into a gym of hundreds of people and having the best physique in the whole place.

My advice is to wrap it up before it's too late (ie. before the permanent damage is irreversible) and focus exclusively on body weight exercises, speed walking, and running. You'd be surprised you cannot run 2 miles within 15 minutes now and you will in a year or so ;)

Mate I'm not exactly fat or unhealthy, i do train very regularly and do a decent amount of cardio, my work is also fairly active. Most older top body builders are still gong strong today with all the supplements and stuff they abuse their bodies with. I'll be OK. Ive been meaning to get back into boxing for a while, i'd really like to have a few white collar (over 40) fights to be honest. Thats something i'll be looking at in the future. To be proper boxing fit is a great feeling indeed.

Sorry but after this layer of fat I can't even say which part you need to work on, but it seems like more or less all sections are equally poorly developed.

Of course it's good but he seems to be lacking self-criticism so I'm trying to feel this gap.

What about your neck WB? Might just be the picture, but it looks like you might be able to put on some bulk there relatively easily.

What are you lifting now?

What about your neck WB?

I was thinking the same but the pictures is from the bottom so you can't seen the neck muscles from that angle.

Aha, they do look pretty good.

Did you find a way to get enough food in during the day?

Aha, they do look pretty good.

They're not mine mate, that's Tom Hardy. His traps are freaky...especially in comparison to the rest of his body.

I was basically just eating boiled eggs and boiled veg with the occasional KFC three piece meal and all that. I really struggle with diet. Whats your favourite Polish food?

Yep they do, guess why?

Whats your favourite Polish food?

Serek wiejski is in my opinion the best polish product that can be used in bodybuilding diet.

Cheese, cottage cheese! I'd be surprised if that has a higher than 15% protein value. Come on numb nuts, you can do better than that.

WB, I've got something very funny for you...

It's just inexplicable, it's a unique blend of being incredibly camp, early 1990's and bodybuilding :D

Very good and throw a piece of baked wild caught salmon in there occasionally too. (Omega 3)
Canned vegetables are packed with salt like most canned foods.
Never eat a farm raised fish as they are horrible for you.
Wild caught fish only and not shark as they are full of mercury along with some other ocean fish.

I'd be surprised if that has a higher than 15% protein value

Plus cottage cheese has a very high salt content.
Most yogurts are packed with sugar too so be are full which ones you pick.
Looks like you are doing excellent on your own however.

Not the Polish one, the English one has like 2% of salt.

The only canned food i eat regularly are tomatoes for my pasta sauce. I never eat frozen or canned veg, can't stand it. I try to buy organic free range meat, not the typical supermarket stuff. Chocolate is my problem, love the stuff.

Never eat a farm raised fish as they are horrible for you.

Yeah you got to be careful about a lot of this mass produced crap.

Canned tomato's are the worst of all of them. Just look at the sodium content in them.
Frozen vegetables steamed would be hard to tell the difference from fresh.
There is a difference but worth the price difference in my opinion.
Red meat is so unnecessary in a persons diet because of the fat content and digestibility.

Chocolate is my problem

Moderation is the key to that.
Personally I live on wild caught Alaskan Red Eye salmon, hard boiled eggs and greens of all kinds.
A snack before I go to bed is my downfall.
