Turkey has just abolished visas for Poles and in this way 20USD can be saved when going for vacation. Poland moves from 14th to 13th place in Visa Restrictions Index.

- I have just made a decision to abolish the visa requirement for Poles, Polish patriots who want to frequently visit the country, where he died the great bard Adam Mickiewicz. What you don't get? I am showing with this map, that not all EU countries had visa free travel to Turkey. Poland is marked blue (with Visa) on this map, because they haven't updated it yet.

UK has managed perfectly well without the euro and schengen, lol, a lot better than those silly sheep countries who gave up their currency to germany.

'put their mind together' - what is that supposed to mean. Hello? have you any idea how many overseas students are just gagging to get into a British uni? any idea at all?

it does for example I have a green passport and can go any country without needing a visa in schengen countries but not to England.

Also if anyone gets a visa for schengen countries with multipass they need to apply for visa especially for england.

That's good news, although the second link you've posted is kind of questionable. What does the abolishment of visa restrictions have to do with Polish patriots and the partitions? Also, do you really believe that the EU will ever open the Schengen area to Turkey? Never going to happen.

Sorry rozumiemnic , but that's a really uneducated statement. Germany was pretty much blackmailed by France into giving up its Deutsche Mark. No Euro, no reunification - that was the deal. If you want to complain: go to Paris.

I am confused. Since when would Nation 1 dictate Nation 2 whether or not the citizens of Nation 1 need a visa to enter Nation 2? If that would be the case, Kiew would just make an annoucement that from now on, Ukraine's citizens do not need a visa to enter Poland anymore.

read all post please. someone sad britts have to apply for visa the reason is not because they arent in proper place of the visa restriction index but they have special

norms for turks to apply visa since UK is not in schengen. if they would have they wouldnt need visa to come to turkey

You're right. I meant Spain, or Portugal or Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Norway. All are in Schengen, but need Visa to Turkey.

Ireland,

Ireland has a common travel area with the UK and is therefore not a full member of Schengen. Schengenvisas do not apply to Ireland.

We are compensating for Russian tourists who wouldn't come to Turkey for their currency meltdown. Off topic: Russian tourist from Kaliningrad (visa free to Poland) don't come here anymore for same reason. Anyway it is a good news. Turkish visa was quickly issued at the airport, now we'd save time and $

Nothing will make up for them. But many middle class Russians will choose Sochi over Turkey, because Rubel's lose of value.

agree, and they'd rather go Sochi then Crimea which depends so much on summer tourism. Russian rubel may be cheap yet decrease in travels to Russia since Ukraine crisis is significant -not to mention hassle one has to go through obtaining Russian visa....and I'm in Turkey in end of December :) (not much of Oligarch myself though.)
