You would be suprised what creatures you can eat in a survival situation....
100% TRUE! RAT MEAT PREPARED IN 3 BIGGEST CHINESE RESTAURANTS IN KRAKOW CLOSED DOWN !
hows the rat burgers at these joints?
I think those are reserved for home cooked meals. If money for the fast-food joint was to be had, nobody would bother shooting squirrels.

yes... tastes like chicken...
PMSL. So true. That's why the OP is clearly a troll. Over here, we used to get all this stuff, but it was about "cat curry" being served at Paki restaurants (cooked in the "white man's pot", of course" lol) but of course that's just not possible - it didn't taste like chicken, but lamb. Everyone knows that "unusual meats" always taste like chicken. lol :)
in US deep south people eat squirrels.
Good ol' pioneering tradition. Any game is food.
May be back to it one day...
I hope I'm never that hard-up for meat.

er, never had Chinese in Poland.
Me neither. I'll for damn sure never try Chinese food, when I return to Poland.

Kasia idź se zwal konika ;)
I have heard that before, but what exactly does it mean?
There is no bigger fear for the rat community than a chinese restaurant opening in town.

If this story is true we shall not be including these restaurants in our forthcoming TheHolidayAbroad.com Krakow Travel Guide. We want names of great restaurants there used and liked by local residents.
don't discriminate.... some people might prefer eating rat's meat...

So many Xinese restaurants get closed by the health department...could that be the reason why? Is it because of mystery meat? I wonder how they got rats in this case?
1000.00% TRUE ! RAT MEAT PREPARED IN 3 BIGGEST CHINESE RESTAURANTS IN KRAKOW CLOSED DOWN !
So the rumour goes but officially no evidence was provided.
To avoid any complications, I don`t frequent Asian premises in Krakow.
I heard that in china they eat monkey brains RAW
Every day?
Mind you, in Poland they eat pigs 'head cheese'.

They eat that stuff everywhere. It's mostly the older folks that do.
Same with sheeps' eyes in Arabia. In Britain it tends to be older people around Manchester who eat head cheese, but the habit is dying out. Salcesonik (head cheese) is still sold in a lot of places in Warsaw. It tastes quite nice, but the head thing just doesn't appeal somehow.

yeh i heard that one myself, talk about Chinese whispers. Its simply slander probably created by some p1ssed off vegetarians.
I remember one of those badboys when i first visited Poland i was like what the hell is this shite and proceeded to scrape off all the cabbage, kidney beans, sweetcorn and such. Polish burgers in general absolutely suck.
Ironically not so long ago i managed to eat a whole one and quite enjoyed it, thats what 5 years in Poland will do to ya.
