Polska A ['educated'] scoffs at Lech Kaczynski

I heard two sick jokes today about Lech Kaczynski.

This is what educated Poland thinks - they're embarrassed by the outpouring of emotion caused by the death of an embarrassing non-entity.

They're also embarrassed by the agricultural sector, the peasantry, the Church, much of Polish literature ...

When teh intellegentsia loses its heart, the country faces long-term decline. See what happened to the USA ...

Not to worry. This is precisely the NWO agenda.

There are always such jokes after the sudden death of a famous person, a natural disaster etc. Out of interest, what were they?

Along the lines of
"Piłsudski's happy now - he's been dying for a cold Lech"

[Lech is a popular beer, for those who don't know, and Piłsudski is in the Wawel crypt too]

PS This guy has a POLL and almost 50% of respondents agreeing: Kaczyński is a demi god. Or, at least a hero. This British guy's grief at criticising Kaczyński must be striking him damn hard.

I am Polish and have to agree, people mourn him because he is the representative of the people and most certainly not for his achievements when president.


I think they have just as much rights as anybody else to express their opinions, if they live in, and contribute to the country to all intents and purposes they can consider themselves Poles if they want to.

Convex first of all this forum is about people who either dont live in Poland or been here on holidays coming and insulting all things Polish.

Then we get Varsovians who suddenly feel like speaking for Poles.

There's maybe one thread daily that discussed actuall life in Poland for or from foreigners pov, the rest is either anti-Polish trolling or just regular trolling.


He was not, people arent mourning Kaczyński as a person but Kaczyński as a seat of power, for you democratically elected officials are something normal for 60~ years, many of older Poles still remember how shytty it was not having basic liberties, many of the younger ones are smart enough to realise that even without remembering, thats why we're mourning a chair as much as a person in it.

I happened to be part of that educated Poland and we, and we are legion, think no such thing. It's just not popular. I met Gen. Potasinski (along with Olbrycht) in Garmisch, I'd say there was a huge loss there.

What a complete and utter nonsense. I'm an electronics engineer, I speak four languages
and, believe it or not, I'm the least educated person in my family (the closest family
anyway) and none of us shares the point of view of the people you mentioned.


Polish agricultural sector is quite all right. If need be, we could feed 120 million people
(having 38 million population, I'd say we're quite safe as far as agriculture is concerned).


If your friends are from Warsaw then the chances of them having peasant roots
themselves are roughly 90-95% :)

Well, luckily, the people you mentioned are clearly NOT the members of Polish intelligentsia,
so no worries. Being educated does NOT automatically mean being a member of
intelligentsia (especially today when they give out university diplomas to anyone with
the intelligence only slightly higher than that of a bar stool).

of knowing many members of Polish intelligentsia (I'm even married to one of them :))

That's true - comparing most university graduates in Poland nowadays to bar stools

Honestly you should start sentences with a capital letter, the fact is that Platforma Obywatelska and its associates have been steadily destroying our military by taking away more then 15% of our total annual military budget and allocating it... where?
