Russia a state is based on Slavic heritage, Slavic culture and Slavic linguistics. There are foreign influences on Russians same as there are influences on Whites in USA, EU, Canada, Australia, Germany, France or Britain, etc, etc.
It is relevant as it shows what many feel to be Slavic, thus brotherly in a sense, cooperation. However, as my wife rightly says, they are far from being completely Slavic and that is why I asked Crow why he felt cooperation with a largely Asian country was an investment in the future.
