Ukrainian nationalists desecrated the graves at the Jewish cemetery in Poland

It's really hard for me to give speech to my feelings, for I can't just get how it can occur at all in the modern civilized world. How can some people dare to vandalize at burial sites?

This is a Jewish cemetery in Krakow where vandals covered the century-old tombstones with Nazi drawings and anti-Semitic appeals. This sort of barbarism hasn't been witnessed here since the time of the fascist occupation of Poland. German invaders were selling tombstones from Jewish cemeteries to bricklayers or just used them to pave the streets in the Plaszow concentration camp. The language of the inscriptions and symbols drawn on the Jewish tombstones reveal the participation of Ukrainian nationalists in this impiety to the Jewish dead. Ukrainian nationalist groupings have been notoriously known for their involvement in this sort of vandalism in Ukraine. Now, those moral morons appear to be trying to show their worth in other countries, too.

Must be an original content.

You sure about that? I seem to remember reading recently about monuments in Poland to Jewish Poles, to gentile Ukrainians and to gentile Poles being vandalised in similar ways. Last year just a few hundred metres from where I live some cretin painted a swastika on a monument commemorating the Warsaw ghetto.

reveal the participation of Ukrainian nationalists

No. All it tells you is that somebody who wanted Ukrainian symbols to appear was behind the 'work'. The Russian government has a lot to gain from driving Poles and Ukrainians apart.

It's not the first time Jewish graves in Poland and elsewhere have been desecrated. It's been happening sporadically for decades. Back in 1998 graves were desecrated in the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw and the following year anti-Semitic slogans were painted on graves in the Jewish cemetery in Tarnów. There's quite a history in modern times of anti-Jewish graffiti and that kind of thing. And more recently:

2015

It's an ongoing issue pepetrated by a minority. It's not so much to do with them hating Jews as just being morons. If there had never been any Jews in Poland these idiots would still find something to smash, destroy or defile for amusement.

Excellent point Harry.

Unless proved otherwise it's safe to assume this is a Russian attack designed to weaken Poland and Ukraine.

One post member posting fabricated anti-polish/anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

Indeed. Agree with mod that this thread should be deleted.

Why, Dominic? Because it threatens to expose the truth?:-) Curious as to whether you'd be as anxious to delete the post were the situation in reverse aka

"JDL Fanatics descecrate graves of Polish gentiles.."!

You can delete a post, but not a reality.

Russia?

Well, more then half Russia`s problems are already solved. How, you will ask and I will tell you. By simple deployment of NATO troops in Poland and Ukraine. Think about that.

Ukrainian Bandera members destroyed Old Jewish Cemetary in Głusk, Poland

Yesterday, March 28, in the afternoon, alerted by the noise from Old Kirkut in Głusk on Zdrowa Street (Eastern part of Poland, Lublin area), the local residents ran to see what was going on. Thanks to their intervention, only a part of the old Jewish Cemetery was affected by the atack of 3 vandals who was quickly drove away from the scene in the car with Ukrainian registration numbers. Matzeva was devastated and the Kirkut fence were destroyed. This is not the first incident of this type involving the Bandera Vandals. Recently, one of the Ukrainian "students" took pictures, under the monument of the murdered in KL Majdanek using insulting gestures. Bandera supporters have also recently destroyed several memorials of the Poles and Jews murdered by Ukrainians at WWII Volhynia masacre. Several months ago Bandera bandits spread terror upon praying Jews in Uman, Ukraine, where they painted Rabin Nachman's grave with red paint, and in the synagogue they left the pig head cut off with a swastika painted in the center.
