You can't punish syrians because other nationalities are joining them, and Syrians are easily identifiable, during their interview in camps, the interviewers identify them simply by speaking with them, you can't fake the syrian dialect (plus they are asking them detailed questions about the places that they come from ex: Street names, restaurants, shops), many arabs where caught during the interview because of their distinctive dialect.
The Turks have been in Germany for a long time, and there are no signs that their descendants are shifting towards extremism (the same goes with the Turks living in Belgium)
