Hilary Clinton has publicly thanked Poland for agreeing to represent US interests in Damascus. This is yet anotehr sign of the special relaitonship between Warsaw and Washington. Poland reprenseted US interests in Iraq for over a decade between the Gulf War and the overthrow of the Saddam Hussein regime. It appears Poland will soon be included in the visa waiver programme, so the special relationship will have paid off after all.
US-POLAND special relationship
US-POLAND special relationship
sure. After the death of Katczinsky there are no obstacles to `special` relationship
NATO membership enjoys greater support in Poland than EU membership. And even within NATO the Poland-USA friendship holds a special place.
It is a special relationship: USA tells Poland what to do, Poland follows the orders.
in that relationship USA is interested exclusively for the territory of Poland, for the empty land. For Poles eventually as for cannon fodders. Actually, USA probably calculates- 1/3 Poles to be assimilates into anglo-germanic civilization, 1/3 to be hold in informational ghetto (delusional, indoctrinated by NATO/EU aggressive propaganda), to serve as eternal tampon zone with the Russia and 1/3 to die as cannon fodders in some future wars on the behalf of USA interests

Not really. Poland is a useful puppet for America, but that's about it.

That is just silly. Anyway, Poland doesn't have a special relationship with the US. It is however a key part of the EU.
you mean, special relationship plus with the EU.
Polish PM Tusk nicely announced that Poland have to follow interests of key EU players (not only EU), in moment when Poland`s strategic interests were questioned. In other words, Poland have different stance on some subjects but Poland needs to obey. Serbia also has weak PM but when PM publicly announce that he must obey, something went wrong. Deeply went wrong

Remember they voted, as Serbia will, to join the EU. Poland's future is as part of that Union, with whom the USA has good relations.
true voted, voted in situation when there was no real alternative. As for Serbia, Serbia won`t become member of EU but would be annexed by the EU. If you travel to Serbia to ask what people think about EU... 1/3 would speak for EU membership (half of those 1/3, only because they believe in economic reasons for EU membership). Then, 1/3 of citizens would be for membership because they expect EU to destroy Serbia if Serbia refuse membership (people has real fear, EU constantly blackmailing Serbia and people remembered active EU role in destruction of Yugoslavia and creation of Greater Croatia and Greater Albania- on the behalf of Germany and Turkish interests) and 1/3 of people would be against Serbia`s EU membership no matter all consequences for Serbia. Not to mention active role of British, German, French politicians in our public media that openly blackmailing and threaten Serbia, while promote Serbia`s EU membership.
That, that my dear isn`t democratic support to membership. Its annexion by the EU.
Did BBC or CNN or some other false media told you about this situation in Serbia? No, not of course. That`s why we have Polish forums so that people can get real information

Poland-USA friendship holds a special place.
what friendship the stabbingg in back after ww2 the use of Polish soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan the use of Polish territory for missilee shield?
Poland has been used and abused by U.S., with friends like U.S. who needs enemy.
So Marek111111111, do you object to US policy when they intervene, or when they don't? Sounds like you're sitting on both sides of that fence.
people, just use your logic when you analyze USA strategic policy. USA strategic policy destroying and weakening Poland`s traditional strategic partners and fight side by side with worse Arabic mujaheedines and Germanics in that process
what can Poland expect when USA destroyed Yugoslavia and continuing to weakening Serbia? to be next target, that`s what

Poland was the fourth largest armed force on allied side, Poland paid for every bullet every bit of supply in gold to U.S. and England, Poland was allied to U.S. and England and Poland was guaranteed loyalty from them but we know what happen when Polish soldiers ware not necessary for war effort, all Poles got sold into slavery and millions got killed. Now U.S. needs allies to invade Iraq and Afghanistan soon Iran the U.S. is in need again and they asked Poles for help, how do you think this relation going to end if we looking at current U.S. policies toward Poles and historical facts. No fence sitting here Poland will get used and discarded like last time.

I agree! It is NOT possible that the USA can expect to receive help from the Polish people! IN WWII they were sold into communist slavery and
the russians watched the germans destroy the country! While Eisenhouer and Churchill gave the country to STALIN and the Communists!
This is awful! How do they think Poland will help them now? It is a great cause to fight Iran and terrorism but I dont believe it is realistic to
expect any help from the polish people if they remember what happend before..........
We help polish clients immigrate to the usa and NONE of our clients believe poland should help. AND THEY LIVE IN THE USA NOW!

It appears Poland will soon be included in the visa waiver programme
Watching that same address from Sikorski & Clinton, she and Sikorski made it clear that Poland will not yet be included and that there are more hoops to jump through. I'm interested in where you got that part from, perhaps it's a different source than the ones I follow?

I am sceptic.

As has been mentioned in previous posts the Polish government is the one who doesn't want Polish emigration to the USofA. It has nothing to do with the US government.

This is news to me. I haven't seen the posts discussing this. Could you provide link? That's very interesting.
As has been mentioned in previous posts the Polish government is the one who doesn't want Polish emigration to the USofA. It has nothing to do with the US government.
Why would a Polak want to move to the US these days? The liveable areas for NON wealthy continues to shrink, college degree is the minimum for a worthwhile middle class life & ghetto Hip Hop is rotting American culture from the inside.
Unless you are wealthy or involved specifically in Entertainment industry......why would a European want to move to America these days? The only people I see immigrating here permanently are poor/non educated Asians or South Americans.
