I was listening to the news the other day and a geopolitical analyst was being interviewed and they were talking about how more and more regions want to secede from their respective countries, with Catalonia, Spain being the main topic of discussion. Anyway, when the analyst was talking about it, he was saying how there are many more regions that want to secede like one in Belgium, Northern and Southern Italy, Scotland, ect. and in his list he briefly mentioned that the right wing part of Poland was talking about secession recently. Anyone know if he might of meant Poland from the EU or Poland within itself like the North and the South?
Poland Secession
Both are true, the right wing wants nothing to do with Europe or the world for that matter.
But i guess he meant RAS=Ruch Autonomii Slaska=Silesian Autonomy Movement.
They are seeking autonomy for (Upper)Silesia from Poland.

If he was talking about right wing I'm not sure he meant RAS, it is not seen as right wing, also they want autonomy not independence. On the other hand some right wing politicians claim EU is evil.
some right wing politicians claim EU is evil.
Of course, left-wing politicians used to claim that the Soviet Union was not evil.
It's all about sovereignty of Poland, which leftists generally do not care about.

Sure, that's why these people are more than happy to take the EU subsidies while at the same time complaining about the EU. Those right-wingers remind me a bit of Texas: talking about secession, constantly campaigning against government hand-outs and demanding "entitlement reform", but one of the biggest recipients of federal subsidies in the US.
