Poland President National Mourning in Some Countries

the cooperation between the two countries is becoming stronger by day and the wounds seem to seal.

Darun, I keep my fingers crossed. :)

If Russia becomes a medium power,

This is what we currently are, if not less. :) Well, I got your logic and share it up to a point. Does the US in your book have "geopolitical friends"?

SERBIA ISN'T COMING!!!

President of Serbia Boris Tadic will also not come to the funeral of Lech Kaczynski
and his wife Maria - the press office of Serbian president has informed today.

The reason of cancelling isthe "cloud of volcanic ash" from Iceland.

WHY, RACOWIE??? WHYYYYYY??? WHY, SARMATIANS???

How could you disrespect us in such way? Of all the nations - Racowie showed
us their middle finger, it really hurts :(

Kaczyński refused to send ambassadors to Kosovo, he loved Serbia...

Why? The cloud of volcanic ash? The cloud? The ash? Volcanic? Is that the Serbian excuse?

SERBIA ISN'T COMING!!!

Darun, and
Sasha
In geopolitical terms, Russia can not have friends and it is not able to get friends.

I know, this is why I answered to Sasha and made the distinction between politics and people's feelings. Genuine feelings of Russians towards Polish and otherway around, are not to be confused with politics and more so with geopolitical games.

Torq, it is a legitimate concern, this volcanic ash. It has the potential to bring down more planes. Still, Tadić could have taken an entourage with him by coach or by special car. He had the time to plan it. Funerals are once in a lifetime.

It has the potential to bring down more planes.

It didn't bring down the Moroccan plane. Russian president is flying too,
as well as many other delegations. You can fly on a low attitude below
the ash cloud (like the Moroccans did) or use choppers, trains or cars.

Some countries are justified (USA, Canada, Mexico) because they couldn't
fly in small jets or arrive on land, but for the overwhelming majority it is
just a sorry, puny excuse.

Someone has put it beautifully: we were separated, by the cloud of volcanic ash, from all our false friends.

Sasha,
When you will cease to live in the past, to spend your money for the education and research for the Russian people benefit, instead of influencing other governments or to destabilize them, maybe you will get friends and partners like US. Besides, try to be focused much more in the institutional building from your country. Don't try to care by someone else. Look at yourself first. It's much healthier.

True enough, Torq. I even believe that some within the Polish administration have shed crocodile tears and will breathe a giant sigh of relief in the next wee while. Tusk pretending to like LK, LOL. It is a poor show all round and symbolic. Doomed are we when men of principle are quickly forgotten and the globalists drive their self-serving agenda forward. Step up to the plate, Nigel Farage. He is conservative like LK was. The battlelines have been redrawn. I never liked Thatcher but she was a staunch proponent and exponent of national sovereignty and resisted the EC (as it was then before Maastricht in 1992) til the bitter end. Farage has donned the mantle and is fighting as LK did most noblely.

We can see now that she had a point but she was fighting bigger powers as Lech was.

SERBIA ISN'T COMING!!!

wtf, Boris Tadic won`t come?

if moron marionette president failed to come, don`t blame Serbians but EU and NATO. We are dominion under strict control, with 15% of our territory as protectorate under direct occupation.

Crow - my heart is crying.

my, too

take slivovica, fast and several times

Racowie are not coming...

don`t blame Racowie, blame NATO and EU. Whatever Tadic doing he always consult with his masters

i don`t consider Tadic as a normal man. Normal man don`t BS. If he can`t come by airplane, he simple needs to use car. My God, not so long ago our people (Poles and Serbs) communicated riding on horses or walking by fut

Many members of NATO and EU are coming. German helicopter has just landed about
half an hour ago and other NATO, EU members will honour Lech Kaczyński: Netherlands,
Portugal, Romania and many others. Don't blame NATO and EU.

Is President Obama coming? Is Hillary Clinton coming?

Read this thread carefully and you will find the answer to your questions.

Many members of NATO and EU are coming.

of course. But, they won`t give license to moron Tadic to come, just to generate anti-Serbian feelings in Poles. Moron Tadic of course, listen to his masters

Forget about Tadic. Its not democratically elected leader. He is imposed by foreigners. He does not represent Serbs

They used a standard transport option. Serbia could have done the same. I would understand if it was Tusk's funeral but not LK's.

Wasn't he elected in national elections by Serbs? Twice?

Wasn't he elected in national elections by Serbs?

NATO and EU prepared his campaign and controlled elections

Twice?

constantly

I would understand if it was Tusk's funeral but not LK's.

don`t say a word more. i feel like a sh**

Serbs should immediately start rebellion. Its just too much of sh** from our marionette regime

Maybe this is what is needed to orchestrate regime change in Serbia? Tadić is gonna have to say sth. If the Irish Taioseach didn't attend the funeral of Alex Salmond (Scottish PM), I'd be miffed to say the least.

Hmm, no Tabula Rasa (POTUS) figures.

news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8627857.stm

No Clinton either; the Yankees must be playing. I am sure some apparatchik will be send in their place to offer faux condolences.

Pathetic...

Oops, strike that: Secretary of State Clinton signed a book of condolences; states the US will stand by Poland. Better get your hip boots on Poles...

We see how the media is manipulating many things. I would like an eminent scientist to explain the impact of volcanic ash to me as I can't see how it would compromise the systems of aircraft.

I can't see how it would compromise the systems of aircraft.

The visibility and the systems alike.
At the Superior School of Aviation in Bucharest were conducted a series of simulations the past few days, and all the systems on bord, as soon as they entered the cloud, went to the ground. A pilot who flew some missions in Kuweit and flew through some clouds of petroleum (you get the idea) after rafinaries were burnt, said it would be almost the same, and that he flew blindless, with almost no system working.

But air is not the only way, trains and cars are also an option at least for the continental countries.

AZERBADIJAN has just landed!

Welcome, friends!

But air is not the only way, trains and cars are also an option at least for the continental countries.

Or the flight on a low attitude (5-6 thousand metres) by plane or helicopter.
They are just saying on Polish TV that it looks like an excuse in case of some delegations...

Yesterday evening news:

KLM test flight passes without problem

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines carried out a test flight this evening between about 19.45 and 21:00 hours CEST in Netherlands airspace using a Boeing 737-800. The flight was carried out to establish whether air quality in the atmosphere meets the requirements for safe flight. No problems were encountered during the flight.

UKRAINE has just landed in Kraków-Balice!

Welcome, friends!

Yes - I read that too, but you cannot be sure. Do you want to take the risk?

Maybe we should never fly any plane again if we don't believe the test results. Do you want to take the risk?

It's seriously horrible to read things like that, especially considering the reason for the season... Some Air Forces take risk very seriously and manage it at a different level than others.

I'll fly with the guys that err on the side of caution, thanks.

I would take the risk, I wouldn't accept that risk on behalf of my passengers.
