weakling

If only a couple of other people could have been lazy weaklings, Obama and Harper wouldn't have to be going to a funeral.

Bit of a crap party! Plus the fact most Cracovians dont want him buried in their castle because he's a peasant!

Maybe they should reschedule? Put Kaczynski in the fridge for a few more days and wait until the volcano stops being angry? The European politicians could come by train though.

>^..^<

M-G (I know it sounds strange, but they actually put bodies in the fridge indeed)

buried in their castle

Nobody is buried in the Wawel castle. Peasant or not.

We've had blue skies all day here. Not a cloud in sight, volcanic or otherwise.

I blame Iceland. I watched a video on YouTube (but it is already blocked
by the Icelandic government) on which you can see the volcano shortly
before the eruption and there are visible silhouettes of people running
around it and you can hear the voices shouting "Davai - zażighay vulkanu!",
which in Icelandic means "Come on - fire off the volcano!".

It was done clearly to sabotage the funeral.

And what would be your next step, Torq? Arrest the volcano?

:)

M-G (sees Torq's squad storm to Iceland to arrest the angry volcano, grin)

On a positive side - Moroccan delegation made it (and they managed to get here by plane).

They flew a small Falcon 50...

...fairl play to Morocco - they have some balls!

The Balice first delegation landed yesterday - the Prime Minister of Morocco. Some other delegations reach by land . In Krakow is Viktor Yushchenko, who came by car . Cardinal Angelo Sodano will likely make today - told a reporter TOK FM.

Currently confirmed the arrival of about 30 delegations to several Balice and Katowice Airport - Pyrzowicach .

Hm, you may also be aware that the Airports in Southern Europe are open as usual. That part of Europe is not affected by the volcano, so it makes sense that they are coming.

About 30 delgations are scheduled to land in Balice and about 20 in Katowice-Pyrzowice.

Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hunagry, Belarus and Ukraine are going by land.

Australia is already in the air!

This is actually pretty exciting :)

Oh? I thought Quantas cancelled all her flights to Europe?

They were flying their small Falcon 50 on a low attitude below the dust cloud - as I said,
they have some balls!

Oh? I thought Quantas cancelled all her flights to Europe?

Did he? Damn... they must have turned the plane back to Australia :(

I still have hope!
It's Poland after all....Germans can't help themselves...especially now as we are invited for once...;)

There must be another functioning bus near Florenz for god sake.

Those who cancelled (I ain't saying they have no balls but...):

Egypt - well, if Morocco could make it...

Finland - no ships in Finland to make it across the Baltic?

Spain - at least they had a national mourning day - they're forgiven

India - oh, well...

Ireland - I like them - they're forgiven

Japan - where's the Kamikaze spirit gone? - dissapointment

Canada - blame Canada, blame Canada, la la la la la

South Korea - I've just thrown my LG monitor out of the window
(using the back up Philips monitor at the moment)

Macedonia - our Slavic brothers? dissapointment

Mexico - they're Catholic - they're forgiven

New Zealand - oh, well

Monaco - where's that?

Pakistan - oh, well

Great Britain - betrayed us, stole our gold, didn't prevent Katyń and now this :-/

Sweden - no ships in Sweden either? excuses, excuses...

USA - Barack Obama I liked it when he said "We are all Poles!" (yeah, we are all
Poles, Mr President, but some of us need visas, eh?)

Germany - Angela Merkel She is a woman, thus accusing her of not having balls
wouldn't make sense - they're forgiven

No news about Australia cancelling yet...

Defense Minister Guttenberg is stranded with our wounded soldiers in Istanbul too...some even needed to be operated there because they can't come home. :(

Maybe President Köhler can still come?
