This links to the EU's region development plans from 2012 to 2020. personally I think it is interesting.

I have posted this in the History section because to understand the future you must understand the past first......

You can't be a world leader some day in the future by being a follower of the crowd.

That is my take on the EU incorporation.

Save the environment campaigns are funded and fueled by the world leaders who set the agenda and reap the benefits of the agenda.

Poland has coal and could be self sufficient using it, but will be told not to to benefit the planet (world leaders), meanwhile always trying to catch up with the latest fad and never getting ahead. Like people who spend to have the latest. They walk the hampster wheel to nowhere, and are controlled forever.

Plans made by someone else, typically benefit someone else....

Just cause you use coal doesn't mean you have to pollute. Coal can be liquified or gasified and the carbon dioxide captured. But instead of using its resources Poland chases nuclear energy (go figure).

The rise in life expectancy since the reduction in domestic coal use is striking.

They are doing that now in Poland, I saw it on BBC news I think.

Coal is not good, let's be clear on that. Both Katowice and Krakow are on top 5 list (Polish cities make up for 50% of the top 10 list) over the most polluted areas in Europe. The air in Krakow is the equivalent of smoking 2500 cigarettes a year, and is also the reason why they will now ban the burning of coal and wood inside the city of Krakow.

Nuclear is the way to go until something else come up.

Well Fracking seems to be on the agenda, although the progress seems very stop start at the moment.

"sustainable development scenario" is a worlds used by U.N. implementing agenda 21, Poland population will be subject to it most effected will be Polish small farmer as they will be told what they need to grow and when and no more gardens next to apartments either.
